"Duck," screamed Todd the Techo as a coconut man hurled a rock that nearly
knocked off Larry Lupes hat.
"Good job," said Larry as he tied the final knot around the living coconut.
The team of diggers continued down to the depths of the cave until they
reached a fork in the cavern.
"Maybe we should turn back," said Todd in his usual cowardly voice.
"Nonsense, not after I've come this far." Larry took out a lighter and
began to read the cave paintings, to his amazement there was an arrow
pointing to the cavern to the left.
"This way to the greatest treasure of our life."
As they continued down the walkway, they sang a song of the riches they
will be receiving from the golden Aisha.
"Good job," Todd pronounced as they reached a dead end.
"It's not a problem, we'll just turn around and go back down the other
path, let's see what's the easiest path."
"La-La-Larry, l-l-look behind you!" exclaimed Todd.
"Hold on, I'm trying to find the way out of here." WHAM!!!
When our heros wake up they find themselves hanging in a bamboo cage
over a pit filled with water, and large fins of hundreds of Flotsam's
circling in a clockwise motion. There is the loud roaring of coconut heads
talking and working on there gold mines that no one has ever returned
after visiting. "Silence," screamed a loud voice and the coconuts cowering
in fear. A giant coconut pounded into the large mine and exclaimed, "I
am the great Mango Pango, how dare you disturb me from my sleep. What
is the meaning of this bombardment into my city?"
"We-We-Well your majesty if we may be so bold, we were looking for the
Golden Aishia you are keeping so selfishly," Todd said sheepishly.
"WHAT??? Are you calling me, the great Mango Pango selfish? Feed them
to the Flotsams. NOW!!!" Five coconut heads dove and cut the ropes holding
up the cage. Like a bolt of lightning Larry threw a rope onto a rock formation
coming from above the ceiling and grabbed Todd.
"Thank you so much Larry," Todd said.
"No time, we have to get the Aishia and get out of here." A dull roar
was gaining faster and faster and the diggers knew the coconuts were coming
after them. They grabbed the Aishia and, to their advantage, a booby trap
went off and the floor began to collapse. The team ran out of the cave
just as the coconuts put down a board, covering the booby trap, and continued
to chase them. Todd and Larry dove into a bush just as an outpouring of
coconuts stormed out of the cave.
To this day the most famous diggers in all of Neopia are Todd and Larry.
They live in a mansion as far away from the cave as possible.
