The Land of the Water Faerie

by cybergirl99

One day, my pets and I went swimming. I have two. A Jubjub named Kissme and a Tuskaninny named Hugme. They are both blue because we all love the water! It was hot and the beach was very crowded. I decided to take a nap. I laid down on the warm sand, my pets by my side. I woke up about three hours later to the sound of water. Swishhhhh sloshhhhh. I was in the ocean! Luckily, Kissme and I were floating on Hugme

There was not any land in sight. I felt scared. What if a shark ate us? We were hungry and we turned around to were we THOUGHT land was. We swam throughout the night. I did not fall asleep for fear or where we would wake up. In the morning Hugme bucked us off. "I see land!" He said in the very low voice of a Tuskaninny. "Me too!" Kissme cried in a sleepy voice. We paddled to the land.

By noon, we were very close and very hungry. Finally, we reached the land. We walked up shore and collapsed on the sand. When we woke up, a lady with a round face and the bluest eyes and the longest blue hair looked at me. When she saw me, she flew away! It couldn't be a faerie. I know they exist, but only in Neopia, right? Maybe I was in Neopia. It could be the long lost Mystery Island. NAH! We searched around the island and picked some apples and berries.

After dinner, we searched for a place to rest. I heard a squeak from Hugme and Kissme and I raced over to them. More of the strange creatures. There was like a tribe. They WERE faeries!

"Hello!" I yelled to them. One of them rushed over. It was almost like a little child! It smiled. Then it drew a picture of the creatures flying. "Flying away from Neopia?" I guessed. The child nodded. She squeaked and drew some faeries swimming, too. Faeries can't talk, they squeak. They don't swim either. But these could be a new kind! She wrote the word WATER FAERIE. I was right--a new kind! I captured a few and I took them home, but I never found out exactly how I got to their island. No one ever has.

No one believes me when I tell them this, but I know that one day someone will!
