New Battle New Buddy

My pet Battle Master gathered light for a Fire Ball and screamed, "I know my might! Release the light!" Fireballs flew out of Battle Master's Hands, the enemy Gustav was blown away but was still alive. I ordered Battle Master to Teleport to Gustav and use Fire Ball. Gustav quickly deflected it with Invisibility. So then I ordered Battle Master to use the Staff of the Earth Faerie and use it to create the spell Great Vine. The Vines would entangle Gustav and make him become visible. Once Gustav was visible, Battle Master Teleported to him and used Water Jet and Gustav was knocked out! I had won the Striped Cup! I was now able to go to the Neopian Grand Battle! So we quickly packed our bags and left the hotel we were staying in and started walking towards the Golden City. We stopped every hour or two to train and try out spells on trees or rocks. So far, Battle Master has turned some rocks and trees into some frogs and a puddle. We met a few trainers on the way. We battled them one by one and beat them all.

When it started to get dark, Battle Master and I set up camp. My pet went to get some fire wood and water and I set up our tent and sleeping bags. Once everything was set, I started to fry some Pango Chutes that we found on the Mysterious Island. Once they were done, I heard something in the stream next to camp. Something jumped out of it. I thought it was a Kiko but it turned out it was a Blue frog thingy. I asked it what species it was and what its name was. The little fellow said, "My name is Battle Quiggle and my species is Quiggle." He showed me his power card and it said "Ultimate Pet." He sat down next to Battle Master and they started talking vividly, and Battle Master kindly offered the little Quiggle a fried Pango Chute. But I kept staring at his power card, it kept blinking "Mysterious Species." I just ignored it, I asked him if he wanted to join us on our journey to the Neopian Grand Battle.

After eating and setting up a 3rd tent for our new friend, we went to sleep. Once we all woke up, I started baking some Plantcakes and Zeenana for breakfast. After a long day of travels we decided to sit down on a huge hill. While sitting, I was looking at the surroundings and I saw the Battledome! The Golden City and the Battledome where only a mile or two ahead! We started to run really really fast and Battle Master and Battle Quiggle leapt into the air and started flying! They had both just learned Flight! We landed right next to a shop and started walking towards the Battledome. When we got inside, we registered ourselves at the front desk by showing our Trophy Keeper. It said we had won 10 trophies, The Striped, Shadowed, Fire, Glass, Split, Speckled, Invisible, Yellow, Purple, and the Glowing Trophy. The lady also gave us a pass card that gave us access to eat free in any restaurant in the Golden City during the competition. She also told us that we were staying in house number 39 in the Competitors Block.

We quickly found our house and set our stuff down and took off towards the Marketplace. When we arrived there, we were amazed by all the different lights, pets, and people. We sat and watched a Parade full of Poogles, Cybunnys, and Peophins. And then we went and checked out the Tropical Fruit shop we discovered. They had all the Fruits there! So we grabbed a bite to eat and went back to our house and got some sleep. By the time my pets were awake, I had already baked and cut up some Strong Berries and Energy Broccoli for my pet's breakfast. Once they were done eating we headed towards the Battledome to get registered for our first battle.

We were battling a person named Bob. We quickly hurried over to the Stadium. He had a Poogle named Tymora. I used Battle Master. The bell rung that told us to begin! He ordered Tymora to Lava Spit, but Battle Master shot it back at Tymora with a Meteor Shower. Tymora had 2/20 Health left! Then Tymora used Water Jet and then Battle Master did Water Jet and they combined and Battle Master's Jet was stronger which Destroyed Tymora in an Instant. We had won our first battle of 7!

Our next 3 battles were a cinch! A Blumaroo, Destroyed. A Cybunny, Gone! Grarrl, Static Problems forever. With 2 Battles left my pets and I felt like we were on the top of the world! We registered for our sixth battle and got to the stadium. Our battle was against a JubJub named Jib Jib. I sent Battle Master for this fight. I sent Battle Master flying into the battle using dive. Direct hit, took away 50 of his 100 health. Then he used Fireball, Battle Master nearly escaped, he was singed on the wing and that took off 25 of his 69 Health. Battle Master was hit, but he was OK.

We kept fighting Jib Jib off with Water Jet and Fireball. It came down to this: They both leapt into the air and Battle Master sparked while touching Jib Jib's fur which caused Jib Jib to get shocked beyond belief! We had one that battle and now 1 left!!!!

After a long night of rest and relaxation at the Spa in town, we were stocked for the next battle! We were battling a Kau named Blaster. I sent Battle Quiggle in for this battle. Blaster started out with a Boil. He made a HUGE hole in the battlefield. So I ordered Battle Quiggle to stay in the air and attack to stay away from his effective attacks. Battle Quiggle then suddenly transformed into a Frogstomp! That's why he was a mysterious species! The Frogstomp is the Qiggles pre form! He then disobeyed my Fireball order and used Nighttime and Night Vision. So it was now night and he was the only one who could see clearly. There was a big flash of light and it was day again and there was Battle Quiggle. The Quiggle had knocked out Kau. Battle Quiggle had used a SUPER STRONG drain life attack.

We had won the cup!! First place! When we left, we went on to train and became explorers that climbed high mountains and cliffs. We all kept a picture from that day in our book bags.
