The World Of Antiques

by Thorsten_Veblen

Have you ever wondered just exactly what is up in your grandparents’ attic? Or out in the shed behind that lawnmower that hasn’t worked in ages? You might be surprised. These days, taking the time to wade through some clutter can actually be like looking for long-lost treasure. Who knows what you might find? And, if you fail to turn up anything at home, you can always make the rounds of Neopian garage sales. If you don’t mind getting up early on Saturdays, often times within blocks of your home you can find some Neopians who have laid out an eclectic array of items in their shops. If you’re lucky, you just might dig up a real bargain! And, you might be able to make a profit or find a map to something.

There are countless cases of people rummaging through an old closet or basement and stumbling across such priceless items as: rare trading cards, long-lost works of art, and centuries-old pieces of furniture. Not to mention the endless treasures that can be found at garage sales. Now, you might not find a valuable item like a Neoffany lamp or a rare Bride of Frankenstein movie poster on your first go-round; finding items such as these requires a keen eye and boundless patience. However, if you read up on the kind of antiques you are interested in collecting and vigorously hit your local shops and garage sales, then you’re bound to turn up something. Happy hunting!
