The Lost Desert

by teddycrazy1024

Everyone knows about the great new world called the Lost Desert. You know, the one Brucey B and his friends founds while trying to track down his lucky coin! Exploring is fun, but here's a quick simple guide to the new world beyond the Haunted Woods, the Lost Desert.

There are four new games in the Lost Desert. They are:
1. The Pyramids Game
2. Swarm
3. Geos and
4. Scarab 21

The Pyramids Game is where you have to put a card in the pile that is one less or one more than the one in the pile without having to draw another card. Swarm is where you destroy swarms of bugs with your army tank thingy. You fire by pressing the space bar. Geos is a two player game, you start playing by clicking on the lost desert Kacheek. You have to make 4 geometrical shapes before your partner. But if your partner made a shape and you trying putting a shape there, you lose a turn, because you can't see your opponent's shapes. If you have a loving friend playing with you, it isn't so bad. But if your partner is mean and nasty, you'll have a hard time.

There are also new shops in the Lost Desert. One shop is Sutek's Scrolls. Sutek's Scrolls is like a book shop, only there are scrolls instead of books. They contain wisdom from the ancients. Then of course, there's the food stall. They have foods like mummified peppers, striped peaches, and things like that. Then, at last, there's the PetPet stall. These little PetPets are some of the strangest in Neopia, but they're still cute! This shop is owned by Peopatra.

NeoPets now has a new tool. It's the Lost Desert calculator! This calculator has square roots, cosine, and more advanced functions. The top panel has a cool desert scene, but if you close the panel you'll see all the functions it has. The dice in the upper right hand corner throws out a random number. You can also download this calculator onto your computer so you can use it even when you're not on NeoPets.

Then there's a mysterious shrine! Ooooh! It isn't done yet, but rumour (like it says right there on the screen) is that it will increase your NeoPet's stats. I could definitely use that!

Then there's the unopened city, of Sakhmet. You've probably been to the city in Faerieland. So there will most likely be more places to go in Sakhmet.

Finally, in the Lost Desert, there's the paintbrush stall. This is where you see what pets you can color with the rare Lost Desert paintbrush. If you get your hands on one of these babies, give me a call! That's all for now, folks! I hope this made your trip to the Lost Desert a little bit easier.
