- NOTICE - We received some Mynci Mail today and got really excited thinking it was some leftover candy, but alas... It was a maintenance notice instead. :( Tonight at around 1:00 NST, Neopets will be down for maintenance for up to three hours for some sort of... standard procedure. The Database Myncies will try to work as quickly as they can, so hopefully we will be back up and running soon!

1st November - All Hallow's Eve
- The chilly air is crisp and sweet as you step out tonight. It is Halloween! Dress up as heroes or villains or just something plain fun or spooky; it's all up to you! Everyone is out to have a grand old time this evening - even residents of the Haunted Woods. :)
- Today is the last day to complete Saskia's Masks of Dread challenge, so don't forget to visit her before you leave for a night of Trick-or-Treats! Also, if you were to visit the Haunted Faire, tonight will definitely be a night for it! Make sure you enjoy it while it is still in town!

Genn had carefully selected this year's Halloween costume. She had chosen to dress up as the late Hubrid Nox, a notorious Neopian villain. As the doorbell rang, the Kacheek grinned, checking one last time that no hair was out of place before running downstairs to greet the trick-or-treaters...
- Don't worry, this fellow may look quite menacing, but it is actually just a happy Grundo showing off his new Halloween look from the Rainbow Pool. ...At least, we hope so!
