- Altador Cup - Staff Tournament! We want to join in the fun too, so we're having our own internal staff tournament! Sixteen staff members have each chosen a team and will play against each other for a much smaller piece of Altador Cup glory. Place your votes for who will win, and if you're right, you'll take home an extra prize at the end of the Altador Cup! Click here for more information and to vote for your favourites!

- Kick-Off! - Round one of the Altador Cup starts now! Get out on the field and do your best for your team. This first round ends Sunday, 11th June at Midnight NST. Good Luck! (And don't forget to read the Tournament Updates!)
If you haven't signed up yet, don't worry! You can still sign-up while the round is in progress. Just be sure you choose wisely. You will not be able to switch once you have chosen!
- A new page of Poems is available for you to read. Congratulations to the selected writers.
- Now you can show everyone which team you support with these great new Buddy Icons!
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Caption Contest #362. 383 people guessed correctly, earning them 5222 NP each.
- Faerieland is just one of the stunning Altador Cup Backgrounds that are now available.

8th June - Petpet Appreciation Day
- Don't forget! Tournament play for the Altador Cup starts tomorrow! You have less than 24 hours to decide which team you'd like to join in the tournament, so think carefully, but don't take too long!
- To start off Petpet Appreciation Day there have been some new foods added to the Merifoods.
- Altador Cup fever has hit Zazzle! If you want to show off your team pride while sauntering around town, why not make yourself a t-shirt with your favourite logo? Most of us on staff have already purchased ours. We... we just couldn't resist.

- Breaking News! - In a stunning turn of events, it was learned around 4:30 this afternoon that Kiko Lake's Holbie Pinnock suffered a terrible injury during the team's last practice. There is some good news, though! Kiko Lake fans will want to read more at the Tournament Updates page.
- Today the Book Shop is releasing some new books about language!
- Scarvogue wins the User Lookup of the Week for a rather piratey themed lookup.
- A new page of art is now on display in the Art Gallery.

6th June - JubJub Day
- New Look JubJub - To start JubJub Day off in style, we thought it was about time they got an updated look. For now, the basic JubJub colours have been updated, but more will be completed shortly!
- The Poetry Gallery has been updated with some new JubJub poems for you to read.

- Congratulations to greyller and Patteoh for their site Patteohs Potato Page. They have just won the Site Spotlight award.

- A new Story Telling competition has begun! It looks like Reginald has some work ahead of him.
Dropping the twig, Reginald hurried after the soldier. They soon came to a small clearing, where several of Reginald's troops were surrounding a huddled figure. Two gleaming eyes flashed at the captain as he strode to the front, and the figure leapt to its feet. "Meridell scum!" it spat. "I shall destroy you with my own blade!"
