- The highlight of Usukicon has to be the unveiling of these four super deluxe Usukis.
These are now on sale in Usukiland.
- There is a new page of Testamonials for you to look at.
- Make sure you pick up an Usukicon Y7 Gift Bag when you are browsing the
selves at Usukiland. Each one
contains all kinds of interesting Usuki themed goodies.
- The 204th issue of the Neopian Times
is now live, look out for great articles such as How to Make Your Neopets Look Like They Got Painted and
Conquering Qwerty: a Typing Terror Guide.
- A Meerca called Xoriloa is this week's last Pet Spotlight award
winner - congratulations!
- Five new Usukicon themed Poems have just been added.
- This new Background is a must for Usuki fans everywhere!
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was Guard Two - Haskol from Cellblock. 695 people guessed the coorrect answer, earning
2,878 NP each.
- With six new Buddy Icons to choose from, you are bound to
find one that you like.
- Don't forget to get your Usukicon posters from the
Furniture Shop.
They may be just the thing to brighten up a empty room in your Neohome.
- To celebrate this special day, the Book Shop
has four new luxurious Usuki themed hard backs on sale.
- This week's Neohome Spotlight trophy is whizzing
its way toward tyleraapje, owner of 375661 Bracknell Road, Neopia Central. Bracknell Road
certainly seems to be the place to live at the moment :)
- As well as the new Usuki dolls and the goodie bag, there is another reason to stop by
Usukiland
today. Four new Petpet Sets featuring some of the more recently added Petpets have
just been released.
- The Werewolf Usuki has been added to our How To Draw
section. You can find it under 'Misc Items'.
- Make sure you stop by the Art Gallery today. There are oodles
and oodles of Usuki themed pictures for you to ooh and ahh at.
- A new Beauty Contest is about to begin, get ready to place your votes.
- This weekend why not give the Caption Contest a go? You
could win thousands of Neopoints, a rare item and a shiny trophy!
18th August - Meerca Day!
- To get their special day off to a flying start, Meercas can now be painted
Grey and Camouflage.
- Neopets in Hong Kong - We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came along. Both days were
a huge success and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. Hopefully we will do something similar to this again soon.
- We have made a few changes to the Faerie Meerca so now it's wings should be in the right place :)
- You may remember Hermeedjet and Meerouladen from an old plot we ran a while back. Now you can have one of these
little thieves as your desktop Background.
- There is a new Meerca Blog for your shops.

- Purplepassiony2k has won this week's Neoadventure Spotlight award
with their adventure - PWNed by the Lab!
The Scorchio invites you deeper into his lab. It's dark, damp and of course scary with the loud cracks of lightning! (Um,
where did the lightning come from?) You walk slowly so your eyes will adjust, but you trip anyway and hit your head on a
torch lamp. You reach up and feel your head; no big bump yet, but you feel really dizzy. "Why don't you just sit over here
on this chair," the Scorchio chuckles, saying to you, "you won't feel thing!"
- There are pages and pages of Meerca themed pictures for you to admire in the
Art Gallery.
- There are also four new Shopkeeper images for you to choose from.
- A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's
was Round 11. 946 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 2,115 NP each.

each with a gourmet twist.
- As a reminder Usukicon Y7 is fast approaching. You should start
thinking about sending in your Usuki themed poems, pictures, spotlights and galleries now.
- A new Screensaver based on Flycatcher has been released.
- There is a new sketched Background
for you to use as your desktop - a Polarchuck.
- This week's Meridell Castle Spotlight
award has been given to Redwaves with their level - Code Blue Dungeon.
- If your Neopet prefers using magic and their wit to battle,

may be just perfect for them.
- If you like Usukis, you should stop by Wernertje's Gallery Spotlight
winning shop - ~Usuki Heaven~.
- A painting lesson seems to have gone horribly wrong in today's
Caption Contest image. Can you think of something
funny to say about it?
- This week's Petpet Spotlight award has been given to

- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The

- Neopets in Hong Kong - We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who made it to
SOGO yesterday. It was a great success and everyone was awesome, despite it taking up to six hours
for people to queue for their sketches. If you are planning to visit tomorrow (on the 17th), you may get a
chance to catch some of the artists giving autographs.
- Swimming amongst the newly complete city of Maraqua, a strange sight has been spotted... It seems
Skeiths can now be turned into Maraquan versions.
- Well done Ophimialeen, your course - Tropical Choice, has just earned you
this week's Tyrannian Minigolf Spotlight award.
- If you like the look of the Maraquan Skeith, maybe you should get hold of some of these
new items.
- LeCosta and Cruelrose should be very pleased with themselves. Their webpage -
LeCosta's Medical Page has just won today's
Site Spotlight award.
- Some never-seen-before creatures have been spotted around the Lost City of Geraptiku. Maybe
you could catch one and make it a Petpet?

- There is a new Sketched Background
for you to choose from featuring an Eyrie.
- Neopets in Hong Kong!!! - As a reminder, the 16th is the first day of our two day event in Hong Kong. If you live in Hong Kong, try to stop by
SOGO at Causeway Bay and you can get hold of some very hard to get merchandise and meet some of the Neopets artists (you can
even get a free sketch from them). The first
people to visit will also get a virtual prize code. Click here for more details.
- Ewwww... This Kyrii seems to have fallen into a big bowl of custard.
- The Bakery
has just unveiled four new flavours of puff pastries, each filled with various creamed
vegetables.
- The first Pet Spotlight of the week has been given to
a Flotsam called Floater6507.
- Some Neopets appear to be taking a hot air balloon ride in the latest Caption Contest.
- A new Story Telling Competition has just begun. Why
not give it a whirl?
"Are you still fishing?" the exasperated Cybunny asked her Krawk companion,

fun, but even fun had its limits.
