- The 14th part of our Curse of Maraqua plot is now live and things are starting to
look very bad for Garin and Caylis...
- We have added more shops to the Marketplace and fixed the people's
shops that were appearing as ponds and trees.
- In the US, this Sunday is Mother's Day. Why not let your mum know how much you love her with one
of these unique Neogreetings?
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was the image for the 400th Caption Contest. 493 people guessed the correct answer, earning
4,057 NP each.
- There are some new pictures for you to enjoy in the
Art Gallery.
- Is your Neopet paricularly good at cycling, gymnastics and skipping? If so
you should try VERBnow Athletic Competiton.

- In honour of Cinco De Mayo, today has been declared Pinata Day - Yay!
- The Toy Shop
has some pinatas for you to play with. If your Neopet hits them hard enough, the pinata
may explode and shower them with sweets!
- Well done Mh3w. You have devised this week's
Pirate Cave Of The Week - Arrow Tomb.
- A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun and it is MUCH harder than
the last one. The answer to last week's
was 84 days. 12,173 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 165 NP each.
- This week's PPL award has been given to the Carma. Well done
Camera, My froggy boy!, Captain Slimy, Garth9 and all the others.
- A very much needed new Market Place map is now live.

4th May - Hissi Day!
- Over the course of the next few hours there will be 100,000 Hissies (yes, that is the plural of Hissi)
available for you to adopt. To make it fairer to everyone we are giving you lots of warning and will split up the
release.
At the moment there are just four colours that Hissies can be painted, but more colour options
will be added shortly.
- The thirteenth part of our Curse of Maraqua storyline
has just been released. Garin, Jacques and the rest of the crew have sighted the Black Pawkeet and
are determined to rescue their beloved vessel...
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was the Gallery of Heroes image. 566 people guessed the correct answer, earning
3,534 NP each.
- Hissies have three Battledome abilities - Hissi Squeeze, Hissi Strike,
and Hissi Wing Blast.

of our soon to be released PS2 game entitled the Darkest Faerie, or read an interesting

In the game, you can choose to play Tor (a Lupe) or Roberta (an Acara) as you try to save Illusen and the rest of
Neopia from the most evil faerie of them all.
