28th January - Kacheek Day!
- Ok, Kacheek Day is really the 29th, but as that is a Saturday we are starting things a little early.
Captain Threelegs has kindly agreed to give all Kacheeks that visit his Swashbuckling Academy
free training all day today and tomorrow, so make sure you don't forget!
- To start off Kacheek Day in style, you can now paint your Kacheek
Ghost or Grey.
- Detailquen is the winner of this week's Neohome Spotlight award thanks to
their lovely abode - 238274 Aisha Avenue, Neopia Central.
- The Bakery has some new sandwiches on sale that were
specially created for Kacheek Day!
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was the Kadoatery Neopedia Image. 789 people guessed the correct answer
earning 2,535 NP each.
- The 176th issue of the Neopian Times has just been released.

- New Game
A new stall has been set up in the Lost Desert selling all kinds of new scratchcards including
Geb Gajillionaire, Sutek's Riches or Bagguss Bonanza. Are you feeling Lucky?
Lost Desert Scratchcards has also been added to the Stock Market with the
ticker symbol LDSC.
- The prizes for the Hannah and the Ice Caves war are being given out right now.
Check your inventory and you could have all kinds of cool surprises inside.

- The Icy Cavern.
- Peopatra is the star of the latest Lost Desert themed
Background.
- A new Random Contest has begun. This week we are asking you to
send in your origami Neopets, Petpets or Neopets characters!

has some new treats on sale.
- Congratulations Eclipse11052, Wing's Adventure has just won this week's
Neoadventure Spotlight award.
The three decide on using the explosives, but they can't find the

26th January
- As promised, today is randomly Harris themed. To start things off,
you can now paint your Harris Pirate, Disco, Grey and Island at the
Petpet Puddle.
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was the image of Lord Darigan's Chambers. Exactly 1,000 people
guessed the correct answer, earning themselves 2,000 NP each.
- There are now three new plushie sets for you to buy at the
Neopets Official Ebay Store. Each set also includes a
notebook and set of tattoos. There are three to collect including Scorchios, Noils, Kadoaties
and Kaus.
- There are Harris galore in today's new Caption Contest picture...

The Pteri swooped down and hovered just above the sand to examine what the Grarrl had stepped on.
Ramos gasped, then looked further north, stunned. As far as he could see, the sands of the Lost Desert had been
turned into glass. "What could have possibly created enough heat to make all this sand melt?"
the Pteri said, nearly in a panic.
