- SITE UPDATE - We have re-installed Linux (yay, fun) on our secondary database, and it
is working a LOT better. As a result, pages on the site are loading much faster than
usual and there is a lot less lag! We will be making more improvements tonight (don't worry, it
won't affect the site at all), so tomorrow should be even better.
6th February
- BATTLE FOR MERIDELL - Yes, Part 3
of our new plot has just been released. Things are not looking bright for Meridell. Who is
this Lord Kass anyway.. and where did the beast at the farm come from? All will be
revealed soon...

3rd February - Zafara Day
- The Zafara is the first Neopet that can be turned into a Prince or Princess
using the Royal Paint Brush :D
In case you were wondering the Royal Paint Brush is on sale in the
Hidden Tower.
- Today's Card of the Day is Faerie Dust. It features
a Zafara... (or a Skeith, we just can't be sure!)
- Well, this wasn't supposed to launch until March, but apparently some boxes of specially-marked
Cocoa Puffs cereal with Neopets TCG cards in have already been spotted. You may want to check your local
supermarket to see if they are in your area!
We will give you more news when the promotion starts, but you will be able to get a
Virtual Prize Code and one of five exclusive trading cards in each box... and cereal too!

If you've installed the plug-in, but it's still saying you need to
install the latest plugin, you might want to uninstall your current
Flash plugin and then install the Flash 7 plug-in again. To do that, follow the instructions
here.
Sorry about the inconvenience, hopefully this will make our games a lot faster with a lot better
graphics :)

- THE BATTLE FOR MERIDELL HAS BEGUN - Yes, thanks for your patience! As we told you earlier, we will
be showing you the new plot as both a comic and animated flash movies! Click
here to see the first part.
Unfortunately you will have to upgrade to Flash 7 in order to see the plot. We are going to be globally
updating our games and flash animations to this new version over the coming months, and it's worth upgrading
anyway as apparently it runs a lot smoother. This *may* require a restart of your computer, so sorry
about that.
That's the worst joke I've ever heard... and I've heard a few!
- Shiver me timbers! Those sneaky scoundrels at the
Smuggler's Cove have managed to
get their hands on 10 crates of Mega Cabbages!!!
- The first Pet Spotlight award of the week
goes to a Zafara called Emic_mic. Pretty handy considering tomorrow is Zafara Day eh?
- We had a problem with the TCG Vote and unfortunately
