26th November - Early Usul Day
- This week is a very short week for most of the US so we will be celebrating Usul Day a little bit early.
We won't be in again till Monday, so have a fantastic weekend! We *should* have a cool new game to go up
tomorrow, and of course the Neopian Times, so that's good news :)
- To start off Usul Day, there
are some new Usul themed pictures in the Art Gallery.
- MERCHANDISE UPDATE - Beginning in December, lots of exciting new Neopets products
are coming to Borders. Stationery, Mini Petpets, Plushies and lots more! The
Stationery is going to be exclusive to Borders so it won't be on sale anywhere else.
- A new Caption Contest has been launched. You have
until Monday to think of something witty for this one!
- Usuls have three new Battledome
abilities - Usul Kick,
Usul Turbo and Usul Flash.
- We have started today's Better Than You
a day early!
- Now Usuls take an additional 10% less damage from water-based attacks in the
Battledome.
- The Kougra Pillow has been in
Limited Too for a couple of weeks now.
It's about to be joined by this adorable Kacheek Pillow!!!
- We have uploaded a page of Usul Day Poems!
- The Bakery
has gone all out with these new super deluxe Usul Day cakes. Each one
can be divided into six pieces so there is plenty for all your pets!
- Just because it's Usul Day, we'd like to tell you that Usuls will be in our next
TCG expansion :) Woohoo!
- The last part of our Storytelling FAQ has
just been uploaded!
- Awwww, I wonder what this Plushie Usul is crying about... :(
- Congratulations go to Jazzlyn_26 the Korbat, they have won the latest Pet Spotlight
award.
- Since there won't be a Mystery Pic on
Friday, we have uploaded another one today. Good luck! The answer to the last one was
'The Meerca Chase Game Image'.
- Usuls can now be painted Orange at the
Rainbow Pool.
- This week's PPL features the Zebie. Congratulations
to all the lucky owners... well, there weren't many of them (unsurprising as the Zebie
is rarity 99!) We promise to do a more popular Petpet next week!
- These four Usul themed

- Give a warm welcome to Stonez the Rock, they have just won the Petpet Spotlight
award!
- Stamp collectors eager to complete their collection will be pleased to learn

25th November
- NEW GAME - Yes, finally we are proud to present
Hannah and the Pirate Caves. You played the demo, now play
the entire thing!!! 20 levels of devious trap-laden treasure-filled piratey caves await you!
- We will also be doing a Pirate Cave of the Week competition, where you get the chance to design
your own levels! More news soon
- SITE UPDATE - By the way, we apologise about all the problems with the Island Trading Post.
Basically, we had to rewrite it because there were so many trades the script that processed it couldn't keep
up with the sheer amount of trades. When it came back up it went haywire and started giving the wrong stuff
to the wrong people. We really are sorry but we didn't have any logs of what happened, so if you gained
stuff accidentally - why not donate it to people who lost stuff? :)
We have put a new system in place so this cannot happen again, but we are sorry, there really isn't much
we can do, it's just one of those things.

- SITE UPDATE - For the first time ever we did 6 million game plays of our
flash and shockwave games over the weekend. Thanks for everybody for supporting us and playing
our games. We hope that figure will be even higher when Hannah and the Pirate Caves
is released!
- Ooh look, more Negg plushies are on sale in the
Toy Shop, including the
*ULTRA RARE* Fish Negg Plushie!
- We promised we'd show you one TCG card every week - so here it is! Meet
the Mortog, a Petpet from our upcoming expansion Battle for Meridell!
- The boards may be a little weird today as we are re-doing the way the avatars are stored
in our database, so if strange things start to happen don't be alarmed!
- Quiggle owners will be pleased to hear they can now paint their Neopet with the
Split Paint Brush!
- Since this a bit of a weird week (with Thanksgiving and all), we have decided to put a
Storytelling FAQ up instead of the usual competition.
