14th November - Neopets is 4 years old! (well nearly)
- Oops... we accidentally synced the site a little early. Everything should be working now and
there will be more added later.
- Yay! What a great day to beat our bandwidth record. We just hit 1.16 Gbps which is 145 Megabytes
a second of data output from our servers.
- No birthday would be complete without
Balloons right?
- There is a new band that has taken to the stage in Tyrannia.
Twisted Roses are loud, angsty and if that wasn't enough to make you go and see them, they are all girls!
When you see Twisted Roses make sure you pick up your piece of free merchandise on the
way out!
- On 22nd November the Neopets Team will be invading
Isetan Scotts
in Singapore! We will be drawing pictures, giving out TCG cards and answering your questions
from 10am until 6pm. There will also be tons of new merchandise on sale including the new
collectable tins and voice activated plushies.
Yes, Donna will be there :)
- Hoorah! The Guilds are done with their upgrades. That wasn't so bad, was it? ;) As we mentioned before, the logo upload system has been updated. If you're met with a dreaded 'red x' when you view your guild logo, just re-upload it from your hard drive and it will magically appear. :) Some other front-end updates included adding Chat Avatars, NeoHTML and NeoSigs to the guild boards and new color scheme presets for your layout. More schemes will be added next week. We hope you like the changes!
- Cybunnies rule!!! Yes you may have a chance to adopt one too because 20,000 more just hopped into Neopia.
- Oops we had a big problem with Sutek's Tomb. Well not a big problem,
but some people were abusing a bug. We have wiped the high-score table and uploaded a new version of the game that has
the bug fixed. Sorry about that - we did playtest it a lot in the office (in fact that's why we havent done any
work this week :)
- Today's PPL is the Scamander. Hisssssss. Congratulations
to all eight owners!
- We haven't released one in a while, so here is another sneak preview of our next TCG expansion -
Battle for Meridell which is out late January. Look at what happens if you kiss a Mortog and it doesn't
explode!
- Now there is a link to somebody's auctions on their User Lookup. Also if you visit the
Auction Genie you can type in a username to do pretty much the same thing.
- We have a new Mystery Pic! The answer to the last one was
'The Round Table Poker Poker Table'.
- 99 Dogs are now offering a wide variety of embroidered Neopets items including this rather cute
Stocking. For more info, click here.
- These pint sized Cakes
are perfect if you want to share in the festivities without
spoiling your appetite.
- There has been a change to the NeoDeck. Now it is done in a style
similar to the stamp album, where you can see the entire set and the ones you are missing. We hope you like this
way better.
- Today's Caption Contest features lots of
Neopets staff eating cake - mmm... cake!
- There are some new Neocam Pictures for you to look at.
- As it is almost our 4th Anniversary it seems only fitting we released some new
goodie bags (you can get them at the
Toy Shop!)
- Our first ever Neohome Spotlight award goes to

- It seems there was a problem with Pet Homepages over the weekend - oops! This has been fixed now.
- Round Two of our Multiplayer Competition has just started!
- You may have noticed we cleared all the message boards today. Sorry about that, it was really making the site
slow. We have a new system deleting old boards so we shouldn't have to do that in the future.
- A Water Faerie has been added to our How To Draw
pages.
- Tired of getting 'dunged'? Now in your Preferences page you can
select to only receive items from your NeoFriends.
- Three new delicious fruits have been discovered in Meridell. You can sample a Brogle Berry,
Spiked Dariberry or Asparacone at Merifoods now.
- Test your Story Telling abilities and you may win a shiny trophy and a
