  • The one hundred and ninth issue of the Neopian Times has just been released. This week it features stories about the Grey Faerie, Brain Tree and Valrigard plus all the usual comics, adventures and articles.

20th September
  • It seems in all the excitement some of the Poogle Day goodies were forgotten about, so here they are, starting with these delicious new Poogle themed Cakes.

  • Be sure to kit your Poogle out in the finest battle gear available - Poogle Sling Shot, Poogle Liquid Freeze, Poogle Fang Amulet and Poogle Lightning Boots.

  • Your Shop Keeper can now be one of these rather cute new Poogles :)

  • The Book Shop has some new Poogle themed books on sale.

  • The Lost Desert, Island and Silver Poogles have got a new look!

  • MERCHANDISE UPDATE - Aye! A pile o' treasure fit for a pirate king. Since the Neopets TCG was released today, we thought we would take the opportunity to update you all on some of the exciting Neopets products you can buy. Click the links below for more information!

  • NEW GAME - Aye, to celebrate the launch of our Trading Card Game, we have a game so good it'll knock the winds out ya sails. Sail the treacherous ... erm... no, jump happily around 36 levels of ghost, werelupe and mutant-infested platform fun to reclaim the Heroes and defeat Hubrid Nox! It be featurin' a Poogle, too!

  • If ye be wonderin' why yer Last Logged In time be changing every couple o' minutes, it be cause of a new database-type thing we are doing. We've gone an' changed it to Last Spotted to clear up any confusion.

  • Aye, some mighty fine Poems have been added to the site!

  • There be a piratey theme to this week's Petpet Protection League, and the winner be a Quadrapus.

  • A game o' Frumball will get ya 20% more Neopoints. We found it were a bit low, and made the necessary changes.

  • Ahoy there! There be three more Poogle abilities in yonder Battledome - Poogle Growl, Poogle Light Shield and Poogle Slide!

  • An' while it has been fun, this be our last Card O' The Day. We be featurin' one of the strongest Neopets in the set... as strong as a gale wind in the crow's nest. His name would be Grarrl Gladiator!

  • In what be the penultimate game of the first round, Dirigibles keelhauled Fallsover 2-0. The second round is now underway, Pop Tart and Number Six promise to finish their game by Monday or they'll be fed to the sharks!

    UPDATE - Mr. Insane has beaten Captain Canada 2-0 to be the first to reach the quarter finals... followed by Dom Dread who in a nailbiting match squeezed past Dragona 2-1.

  • Arrr, the new Mystery Pic be launched!! The answer to the last one was 'The General Chat Board Icon'.

  • Did ya know that them there Poogles be takin' all o' 10 percent less damage from Fire and Earth based attacks? Avast and aback! It be true!

  • The Purple Grarrl and Striped Grarrl have been given a new lick o' paint!

18th September
  • TOURNAMENT UPDATE - Through clever use of Vira and Faerie Pancakes, Viola sent J. Boogie crashing out of the tournament 2-0! In other news, Warren beat Tiger Catcher in another 2-0 whitewash and Flash Gorton (ahh ahh) beat BlueForte.

  • Yar! - This Pirate Wocky wants to remind you all that tomorrow is National Talk Like A Pirate Day!

  • The Second Round Draw for our staff tournament has been made!

  • Cloud Poogles, Strawberry Poogles and White Grarrls have got a brand new look!

  • Well the Neopets TCG launches tomorrow, so this is our last-but-one Card of the Day! Kneel before Zo... erm... Lord Darigan!

    We will be adding a great new game featuring characters from the TCG very soon, watch this space!

  • sSs_Snowflake_sSs and Mor_Ros are the winners of today's Site Spotlight award goes to with their website - Snowflake Cool as Ice.

  • The Caption Contest has a Poogle Racing theme - hurrah!

  • More news in our TCG Staff Tournament - DJ Skellington has lost to the truly evil Fuzzy X (from beyond the stars) 2-1, and Snarkie used her l33t ninja skills to beat The Dude 2-0.

    UPDATE - Mr. Insane demolished The Soup Faerie 2-0. He commented by saying that the king of the Potato People built his deck for him however (talk about an unfair advantage!)

  • Acaras can now be painted with the Cloud Paint Brush!

  • Today's Better Than You features Garrox5 playing Evil Fuzzles!!!

  • Eeep... the Back To School shop is simply swamped with notebooks. They have red ones, cloud ones, round ones, something for everyone!

  • There are two new Chocolatey Shopkeepers to choose from.

17th September - Faerie Festival (well almost)
  • This year the Faerie Festival falls on a weekend so we are starting the celebrations a little bit early.

  • TCG REDEMPTION AREA - It's live at last!!! We apologise to those of you that got your cards a little earlier than expected and couldn't work out where to input the codes! Remember, the URL to redeem your TCG prizes is http://www.neopets.com/tcg!

  • We have a page of Faerie Festival Poems!!!

  • Always thinking of others, the kind Soup Faerie has added SEVEN new flavours of soup to her menu including the super spicy Cornupepper Soup and the delightful Starberry Soup.

  • There are some magical new books in the Faerieland Book Shop...

  • Two more matches have been played in our Neopets TCG Tournament, with Captain Canada dispatching Omega13 2-0, and Dom Dread breezing into the second round with a 2-0 victory over Mr. Byrnes.

  • BECKETTS UPDATE - I know we promised to launch the Volcano Mystery early this week but we had a whole load of TCG-related work to do (and not just playing games!!!) It will be coming soon however, sorry for the delay!

  • We have added 5 more levels to The Buzzer Game - good luck getting a high-score! We have also increased the Neopoints you earn from the game by 33%.

  • Quiggle lovers will be pleased to hear they can now paint their favourite Neopet Brown!

  • Fyora has retired the Faerie Paint Brush from the Hidden Tower. Also, (wow she must be in a bad mood), she has limited people from buying more than one item a day!

  • TOURNAMENT UPDATE - Bouncy Supreme has beaten Piratezug 2-1 securing him a place in the second round! Click here for the state of the tournament so far!

    Also, in a bit of an upset, Dragona has eliminated Orkboss from the tournament in a 2-0 victory. Of course Dragona's amazing luck had NOTHING to do with it :)

  • Even more Grarrls have been updated!!!

  • The Back To School shop has a whole ton of new pens and pencils at affordable prices.

  • Oooh look at that! It seems Bruces can now be painted Faerie!

  • As many pets all over Neopia decide what they are going to wear to the ball tonight we can give you a sneak peek at some of the delicious new chocolates that are going to be unveiled at the Chocolate Factory :)
