- Issue 70 of the Neopian Times has just gone live. The highlights
of this week include many debates about the ongoing Meridell V Darigan battle, short stories, comics and of course the
weekly round up of events that is the Neopian News Brief.
- Note - there will be no New Features on Monday 16th as Adam and Donna will be trapped on a plane. Never fear,
this means there will be twice as much added on the 17th.

- SECURITY UPDATE - Everybody on the site is getting logged off today (just once)
as part of a security update thingy. If you have to re-enter your username and password the first time you visit
the site today, don't worry.
- Draiks and Gelerts can now be painted with the Plushie Paint Brush if you take them to the
Rainbow Pool.
- We have updated the Featured Game, now it links to
Spell or Starve.
- At long last there are now Red and Green
Lupe Plushies in the Toy Shop.
- The Battle and Defence magic shops have some new weapons and armour modelled after
Sinsi's Shapeshifter pieces.
12th December - Wocky Day

- WAR UPDATE - Its 4.7 million points to Meridell, and 4 million to Darigan - the forces
of evil (or is it good) are making a huge comeback. King Skarl is SO determined not to let
Meridell fall, he has entered the battle himself.... however Lord Darigan's latest spell has animated
the very rock of the citadel to create Darigan Elementals made of
rock. This latest wave is worth 50 points per victory!

- The latest Story Telling Contest has just begun, this week it starts off
a little on the bizarre side...
- If you are thinking of sending anyone a gift this year, why not put one of our
