8th and 9th September
  • Lots of new shopkeepers have been added, including many Eyries!
  • We have added some new pictures to the Art Gallery!

7th September
  • You can now paint your Skeith with a Skunk Paint Brush!

  • The Mutated Chia who lives in the Haunted Woods has now entered the Battledome. If you were lucky enough to ever find him, you can now beat him in battle!

  • We have made the Witch Quests slightly easier, now she asks for less items!
  • We have a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to Wednesday's competition was 'Ryshiki the Kyrii (Collectable Card)'.
  • Stop by the Art Gallery and you will see some great pirate themed pictures :)

  • Better Than You has finally been released. This weeks opponent is Chizerk the Chia, Chia Bomber champion!

  • If you have a Trading Post item that is stuck (ie. it says its trading, but its not actually in the trading post), you can now click on it in your inventory and it will automagically be available to use again!

  • Kauvara has just finished preparing a whole range of Poogle Morphing Potions including the ultra rare Desert Poogle potion.

  • Today's Pet Spotlight is all about four very special neopets that belong to SnowyMommy!
  • If you can get your hands on a Cloud paint brush, you can now paint your Peophin...

  • Ooooh some new Greetings Cards have been added...Why not send one to someone you know?

  • I think the question has been answered... the Brown Paint Brush has just been added to Neopia!

  • The Alchemy ability didnt really do anything, so we have replaced it with the new earth attack ability Twisting Vines.
  • The new Caption Contest has been launched, why not give it a whirl?

  • We have changed the Beauty Contest so that you have one vote per species as opposed to just one vote overall.

5th September
  • KRAWK ISLAND has just been released. Click here to check out the map! Krawks are a Petpet that are usually found in Tyrannia, but they are the main inhabitants of this tropical southern island... oh apart from the pirates!

  • We increased the maximum number of abilities you can have in the Battledome at any one time to 7.
  • Now items costing over 500 NP will be logged in your Shop History, as opposed to items over 1000 NP. Please remember to clear your shop history regularly as this will help us reduce the limit we imposed even further!

  • We added some Shoyru and Blumaroo pictures to our Fun Images section.

  • You are now able to use bold, italic, underline and style tags in your description.
  • The Health Food Shop has just got some new nutritious soups in stock!

  • The new Mystery Pic competition just came out. The answer to last week's competition was the 'Rock Pool Kougra from Mystery Island'.
  • We have a new Pet Spotlight today, Polydood the Gelert.
4th September
  • The Lava Ghoul has taken time off from his boiling hot home in the Lava Seas to challenge Neopets in the Neopets Battledome. If he challenges you (as a random event) then be sure to accept!

  • The winners for today's Poetry Contest have been announced!
  • Why not send one of our new Pirate Greetings to a friend?

  • The winners of today's Poetry Contest have been announced and a new contest has begun. Note - Friday will have a pirate theme, so be sure to send your pirate related poems in on time
  • The new Beauty Contest is now live. Congratulations to GoldenBunnie who won last week's competition. We are also increasing all the Beauty Contest prizes as of this week, and giving a super rare item to future winners!!!

  • We fixed a bug with the Shop Wizard that would occur when we changed the name of the item, ie. when you search for Lemon Chia Pop but the people with Sherbet Lemon Chia Pops come up. This will not happen any more!
  • Some new Kacheek pictures have been added to our Fun Images page.

  • The new Story Telling Competition has just been launched!
  • We have added some new Pirate themed pictures to the Art Gallery. We will be having one more day of Pirate themed pictures this Friday, so make sure you send yours in if you want it to be shown.

  • There was a little bug with the shrine this morning as people may have noticed. It has been fixed now thanks to the people who wrote in telling us about it. Coltzan's spirit became angry with the people who abused the bug and went on an account freezing spree, however...

  • The new Caption Contest has been launched. Why not enter? You could win 1000NP, a rare item and a trophy for your cabinet!

3rd September
  • Ummm, this most probably won't interest you, but the Lost Desert Shrine finally opened for business. Take your Neopet there to get a random result (all of them are good!) ranging from a scrap of food to a rare artifact! This is still in testing, and we will be changing it, so don't worry if you see any errors or anything goes wrong!

  • The Water Faerie at the Faerieland Healing Springs just got a lot better at her magic. Her spells will now heal roughly double the hit points they used to.

  • Some new pictures have been added to our Art Gallery.

  • WOW!!! There are now over 17 Million Accounts and 26 Million Neopets in Neopia!

  • Hope you had a good weekend! Neopets was up all weekend without any downtime (woohoo!). This week we plan to get the pirate world really underway, along with finishing up a couple of the older things such as the Shrine and Terror at 30,000 feet. Watch this space!!!
  • Usukiland has just got some VERY rare play sets in stock, including Usuki Artist and Usuki Poet outfits.

  • Now you can paint your Aisha with a Halloween Paintbrush! How can you resist this cheeky little devil?
