MYYTH'S SECRET LAIR - With Halloween coming up quite quickly, Neopians all
over are getting quite excited. What will Neopets plan for this special day?
What events and special activities will they have? Will there be new games?
New items? There's even rumour of the war starting on Halloween! So it's not
unexpected that people are looking forward to Halloween this year on Neopets
Well, Sure, I'm excited about the things that Neopets is going to have for
us all on Halloween but I think there are also tons of other things that can
be done for this great spooky holiday with your pets! I'm really looking forward
to all of things I can do on Neopets, So I've written the top ten fun activities
you can do on Neopets for Halloween.
1. Have trick or treating in your shop! How? Very simple really! Stock
up your shop with tons of chocolate, candy, and other goodies from the chocolate
shop. Price them at 100k. (So they're unbuyable) Then have people Neomail you
saying "Trick or Treat!" along with a description of their Neopets costume.
Once they've done that send them a random piece of candy or chocolate from your
shop! Tell them they can only trick or treat once though. You can advertise
your trick or treating shop on the chat boards so people know about it. I think
this is a good idea because you'll be doing something kind for the people of
Neopia.
2. Have a costume contest! It can be in your guild, or you can just
run one in a message board in the chat. You could have something to do with
Halloween as your prize. (A spooky petpet, Candy, A Pumpkin Shield, or a Halloween
Paintbrush if you have enough NP to spare) Have each person draw a picture of
their Neopet dressed up for Halloween! It doesn't necessarily have to be stellar
art, but the one that is most creative should probably win. Tell people before
hand about it and have the actually judging on Halloween! You can either decide
yourself or have people vote for the best costume!
3. Start a Halloween Gallery! Collect everything Halloween. Collect
all of the spooky petpets, scrounge up enough NP to purchase a paintbrush, and
buy tons of candy! Then put it all in your shop and display it to show all of
Neopia. When Halloween is over spoil your pets and give them one of the spooky
petpets you saved up for, or paint them. They're bound to enjoy that!
4. Decorate your shop, guild, or user lookup with Halloween themed backgrounds!
Create an entire layout devoted to Halloween. Get Halloween button links, icons,
and little pixels to show your Halloween spirit.
5. Design a costume for your pet! Has your pet always wanted to be a
doctor? Buy them some medicines from the medicine shop and dress them up as
a doctor! Is your pet spoiled and do you always call her "princess"? Get her
lots of makeup and other things from the beauty parlour. Then dress her up as
a princess! There are so many different things your pets could be for Halloween.
Sloth maybe? Dr_Death? The Space Faerie? Anything! Draw a picture of your pet
in costume or write a description for their costume and post it on their pet
page.
6. Start a Halloween Role play with your pets! Get all of your friends
and their pets together then go trick or treating throughout Neopia. Share candy
with each other and meet up with the ghosts and ghouls of Neopia. Don't forget
to stop by the Haunted Forest! What's a Halloween in Neopia without going there?
7. Be appreciative of the villain's in Neopia. Take time out of your
Halloween to remember that they are not all as bad as they seem. In fact, They've
all got good in them. None are innately evil. Write a story or a poem about
your favourite villain and how they're viewed in the wrong way and post in on
your pet's page or your user lookup. (This Halloween Fun Tip is dedicated to

8. So far I've just talked about things that you can actually do on
Neopets to have a fun Halloween. Well, How about off of Neopets? Dress up as
your favourite Neopets character! Whether it be an actual pet itself, or some
kind of famous Neopia. (Jhudora, The Space Faerie, Hubrid Nox, The Lab Ray Scorchio...)
Show your Neopets pride and go trick or treating in your costume! You could
be a walking advertisement for Neopets
9. Donate mass amounts of candy and chocolate to the Money Tree for
the less fortunate Neopians out there. This is a great way to be a good citizen
of Neopia and show your Halloween spirit! Neopians from all over will greatly
appreciate your kindness.
10. The final thing I recommend you do on Halloween...enjoy yourself!
Follow the above tips if you'd like or not. Whatever suits you! Just remember
the whole point of Neopets is to have fun and enjoy yourself, just always remember
that. Not just on Halloween but every other day as well.
