Re: Why You Should Invest in the Neopian Stock Market

by jackylaguna

I also recently collected over 10,000 NP all at once, and by selling only stocks of LUPE, in the Neopian Stock Market!

I must agree, the Neopian Stock Market is an easy game, but not the easiest game on the Neopets. I am not sure about "the longer you wait, the more money you make", but I do have some experiences on "waiting":

Waiting for the price to raise over 10 NP

The first time I bought LUPE was for the price of 6 NP, and I bought 1,000 stocks. The next day I found it 6 NP again and I bought 1,000 stocks again. The next day it rose to the price of 7 NP, and I wanted to sell the stocks at the price of 10 NP, so I waited...

The next day, it rose to 8 NP, and I waited till the next day, and find it dropped to 6 NP, and I bought 1,000 stocks again and I do the same thing the next day at the same price.

Some time later, the price went up to 9 NP! But it is still not my desired price, and I waited again. However, the next day it dropped to 6 NP again. What a pity I did not sell at the price of 9 NP!!!

It is Not Finished Yet!!!

My real story is not finished yet! I bought again at the price of 6 NP. This makes a total of 5,000 stocks of LUPE, each bought at the price of 6 NP. I waited and waited, and the price finally rose up to 11 NP!!!!!! I was quick enough to sell them at that high price, and this makes me earn 24,980 NP (6 [buying at the price of 6 NP] x 1000 [1000 stocks were bought each time] x 5 [I bought the stocks 5 times totally] - 20 [commission fee] - 30000 [cost to buy the stocks] = 24980), and I collected 54,980 NP all at once!!!

For summary, I earned 24,980 NP, by collecting 54,980 NP, for selling ONLY stocks of the LUPE company!

Things to Remember When Playing the Neopian Stock Market

First, I have to say, I only buy stocks at prices of 6 NP. After I stepped into the Neopian Stock Market, I did not see any of the prices drop below 6 NP, and I can say that 6 NP is the border line.

I agree that buying in bulk is a great choice. I buy stocks in bulk at the beginning, but in my experience above, you can see that I only bought the stocks of LUPE, and still, I earn more than 20,000 NP. Buying in bulk or not, that'll be your choice...

What goes up, must come down

This is a very great sentence describing the situation in the Neopian Stock Market. However, about buying high-priced-stocks, I have the following idea:

Using examples of BBBB and CHIA, they had been at a high price (30 or greater) for some time (CHIA had already dropped below 30 when I wrote this article). As you can see, every move of those stocks, rise or drop, usually is a large number (4 or greater). That means, the more risk you can take, the more quick NP you might earn!!!

That's all, folks!

That's it! Thanks for reading my article! I hope you all enjoy playing the Neopian Stock Market!!! It's a good time!!!
