MERIDELL - Well, this week, Meridell has been discovered. In the news, they
said, "...Meridell will be 3 or 4 maps when finished, not just one!"
Is this place the vacation of a lifetime, or torture chamber? Let's see:
Meridell currently has: A food shop, and petpet shop, Ilusen's Glade, Potato
Counter, Guess the Weight of the Marrow, Cheese roller, Kiss the Mortog, Ultimate
Bullseye, and Shapeshifter.
I will now interview several age groups and they will tell me what they thought.
Infants
Mom sticks Bubba in the Baby Sling, and off they go! The baby sits quietly and
everything is OK! Right? No!
Mother Anna Young, says:
"Monty didn't appreciate Meridell at all! I thought he might like a couple
of the shows (and the mime) but he just slept. He became heavy too--even though
he is little, Kaus can feel heavy!"
But Susan DeCarly says:
"Junior loved Meridell! All the sights and sounds excited her, and she liked
Shapeshifter (for whatever reason!!). I think it was a nice day-trip!"
Young Pets
Well, what did Annie and Bobby think of Meridell? What about their parents?
Let's ask them...
Annie, aging a month (like a toddler, in human years) says:
"Meridell was really cool, except for the Tour--it was really boring! And
don't EVER go on the "Art Museum" tour. The beginning was boring, but the end
was so scary I cried!"
Bobby, who is the same age as Annie, says:
"My Mommy took me, my older brother, and my little brother to Meridell. I
think Hue (my big brother) had more fun than me, but I still liked it!"
Annie's Mother, SueBrenna, says:
"I have been looking forward to Meridell and I think Annie liked most of it!
There really isn't much to do for toddlers, though."
Allysun B. says:
"I brought Hue, my oldest, Bobby, and Scott to Meridell. Hue loved it, and
I think he had more fun than Bobby, who liked it, but couldn't understand words
like 'tis' and 'twas'. Scott slept, but at least he wasn't having a temper tantrum!
:) I'm sorry I left Dot, my only daughter, home though--she would have LOVED
it!"
School Aged pets: The ultimate place for field trips! Satisfying, yet educational!
I interviewed Alysun (a pet!) her Mother, and teacher Miss Bugs.
"Meridell was like a field trip to the Museum of boring things! On a scale
of 1-10, ten the best, 1 the worst, I give it -600! Boooooooring!"
Her Mother says:
"Alysun had a grand time! She learned soo much! Shh... I want to surprise
her, but we're going back next week! She'll be soo happy!' "
Teacher Miss Bugs says:
"Pets can have a great time, learning and fun, all rolled into one!' "
Teens
So, what do Joe and his father think of Meridell?
Joe says:
"I snuck out in the middle of the tour, and played Potato Counter, Cheese
Roller, and Shapeshifter instead! :) I had a blast! :) "
JOE T. AGE 13
Joe's father says:
"Well, some was a bit boring, but I think this was very educational for Joe,
and Joe informed me that my paws smell just like smoked snorkle cheese. Whatever...."
Adults
What does Mary-Beth think about Meridell?
"The food made my daughter get sick, and Jimmy cried at the end of the Art
Show! It was a disaster! But, they liked the games! Thank you for this learning
sensation!"
Old Pets/Seniors
Whatever you call them, here's what Chad thinks of Meridell:
"Why in my day, you needed a totem to get into Faerieland! Actually, that
was when I was adult! You should have seen my view of Neopia as a kid! None
of this fancy stuff! Nope, no Krawk Island or anything! But anyway, it reminded
me of my childhood memories: I rolled my brother down a hill, like you young
persons do in Cheese Roller! We got in soo much trouble! Why I remember on the
15th day of Sleeping, Year One... Wait, maybe it was Year Two, and the 16th
day of Sleeping..."
Here's what Paul the old Chia to say:
"It's too loud, turn it down!"
Well, that's what you think of Meridell! I'm Hoopy199, signing off!
Alysun: HEY! I HAVE SOMETHING MORE TO SAY!
Hoopy199: What, Alysun?
Alysun: I'll eat my next Tombola prize before I go there again!!
Hoopy199: But you're a Skeith....
Alysun: Yeah, so? |
