GAMES ROOM - So, you want to have a NeoDeck? Well, first... how many Neopoints
do you have? Less than 10,000? Well, maybe one or two cards, but I'd wait. 10,000-100,000?
Good! You can get started. Over 100,000? Great!

1. BEGINNERS WARNING
First off, this is very important. DON'T BE A VICTIM OF THE NeoDeck MONEY HOLE.
Only put holos, black cards, or gold cards in your NeoDeck Everything else can
go in your safety deposit box, and it'll save you a lot of NP. Unfortunately,
I realised this after my deck was up to size 57. 50,000 down the drain. Oh well.
Just take my advice, use the safety deposit box, it'll save you a lot of Neopoints
in the future.
2. GETTING STARTED, AND BUYING CARDS WITHOUT GOING BROKE
Now then, you can easily access your NeoDeck from the main game page, or if
you have already started one, just go to your user lookup. You can buy cards
in the Card Shop in the main shops. You can enter the card shop by clicking
here.
The Shop Wizard is also a good option, many times having cheaper prices than
the card shop. For instance, Princess Vyssa is 30,000 NP cheaper on the Shop
Wizard (which also explains why it's in the card shop very often). Remember,
if your going to show them off, only the best and the rest go in the safety
deposit box, but if your rich and don't care, do what you want. There are over
250 cards, and think how much that'll cost by making a NeoDeck It already takes
me 3,000 just to make it one spot bigger.
3. GETTING A GOAL
Now then, we're in our safety deposit box, with our cards. What are they? Well,
they can be pretty much anything. You can even make a goal to collect all of
the cards like these. I myself take pleasure in collecting NeoQuest cards. There
are also other groups to collect like the four super Grarrls, and by species
(mentioned earlier in this article). You can collect by card type (red, blue,
black), or all of the cards in Neopia.
4. DONE WITH NEODECKS?
Are you done with NeoDecks? I wouldn't get rid of them yet, but that's your
decision. Well, let's pawn them off. Ever since the stock market went crazy,
the price of trading cards on the Shop Wizard have risen. Jahbal used to be
5,000 and lower, now it's worth 8,000 and over. 3,000 NP increase, pretty cool
huh? Well, other cards have gone up over 10,000 NP from their original price,
and beyond. So I don't think you'd have any problem selling off your cards.
You could probably auction them off too, but that's not always effective, and
trading usually doesn't go to well with cards. So my advice is just sell them.
