Do you have over fifty items? Can you not bear to part with that Tiki Tack
Keyring? Are makeup and clothes crowding your inventory? Well, then it's time
you read this article.
I decided to write this because sometimes, when I go on Jhudora's Quest, I
can't get any more items because my Inventory is full. I'm pretty sure that
this happens to you lot sometimes. And I'm also pretty sure that some of you
don't know what to do. So, no more pack rats on NeoPets!
1. Look through your inventory
What do you have in your inventory? Healing Potions? Books? Codestones?
Makeup? Island Merchandise? To find out what you should keep or throw away,
you need to look through all of your many items and see what they do - if they
can do anything.
2. GET RID OF ALL ISLAND MERCHANDISE!!
Ahh, Island merchandise! That exotic, useless stuff that tends to be in
good supply at the Money Tree. What to do? You love your Super Toy Sailboat
- It's so fun to look at the mechanism! And what about that jar of Pickled Olives?
It looks good enough to eat! Oh wait, you can't eat it.
You see, Island Merchandise is just a lot of useless items that just sits
around and looks pretty. It's only something that people put into their shop
to get the little money that Newbies have into their till.
So, let that Sailboat sail away, and let the Tiki Tack man get back to his
Tombola - get rid of all Island Merchandise!!
How to do so: Donate/discard it all.
Note: Gifts and Garden Gnomes are the same. Donate/discard them. But Gnomes
could get you some money in your shop... why not try it?
3. Put Clothes/Makeup/ Potions in Safety Deposit Box
Do you have lots of clothes and makeup that you can't really do anything
with? Put it into your Safety Deposit Box. It saves space in your inventory,
and that way, the Pant Devil can't get to it.
Are Potions of all sorts hogging your inventory? If you visit the Healing
Springs regularly, you'll probably have lots of HP, healing potions, and elixirs.
Elixirs and Magic Mushrooms can be Equipped, so if you battle, go ahead and
do that. If you don't battle, either save your elixirs in your SDB, put them
in your shop, or donate them. Personally, I'd keep them, because they just might
come in handy someday.
4. Read books to your pets
Do you have lots of books? Are your pets everything but smart? Well, I suppose
that those books can come in handy. Once you've read a book to your pet, it
is no longer in your inventory, and you can't use it again.
5. Put furniture in NeoHome
Do you have furniture that you've picked up over the months all over the
place? Do you have an empty NeoHome? Just your luck. Put your furniture in your
NeoHome and arrange it to your heart's content.
6. Faeries and Codestones
Have you collected Faeries and Codestones? You can do one of three things:
For Faeries, you can bless your pet, put the Faerie in your shop, or donate
it. And for Codestones, you can train your pet, put them in your shop, or donate
them.
Personally, I'd bless my pets with the Faeries (they have to have a strength
of at least strong), and I'd put the Codestones in my shop and charge 500 NP
for them.
Note: 500 NP adds up a lot more than 5,000 NP because people will spend 500
NP, whereas people will not spend 5,000 NP.
7. Jhudora's Quest Rewards
Jhudora's Quest - if you've been successful, you probably have a lot of
evil-looking items. I have made a list of what to do with the items that I've
collected so far:
Poisonous Lollipop - Donate/Discard, feed to pet, put in shop.
Noxious Nectar - Equip, Donate/Discard, put in shop.
Jhudora's Brush - Groom Pet, Donate/Discard, put in shop.
Purple Blob Potion - Use on Pet [if you dare], Donate/Discard, put in shop.
Those are all of the items that I've collected so far, and I think that this
gives you a fair outline of what you should do with the rest of the rewards.
I've put all of mine in my shop.
8. Toys
How many plushies do you have? Are your pets extremely bored? Well the, play
with your pets by all means! Each of my pets has three plushies, and I suggest
that you go no farther than that. If you have excess plushies, donate/discard
them, or put them in your shop and charge a low price - Newbies want plushies,
too, but they can't always afford a 20,000 NP Blue Peophin Soft Toy.
9. Weapons
Weapons are easy; either equip them to your pet, donate them, or put them in
your shop. Someone's bound to buy that Kacheek Fire Cannon and pay as much as
you ask for it (I had one in my shop, and I charged 20,000 NP - someone actually
bought it).
10. Food
Ever wonder what to do with that Mega Rare Carrot and Pea Omelette? Do you
think that you should keep it, because it has rarity 118? Wrong - anyone can
get a Carrot and Pea Omelette, for free. I've had about ten or twenty pass through
my inventory.
What you should do with all food, whatever rarity, is feed it to your poor
pets. Or, you could donate it - won't it feel good to know - or at least think
- that the Golden Ivy Leaves that you donated yesterday will probably be in
some pet's hungry stomach?

Well, that concludes my article, I hope you enjoyed it, and I also hope that
it will be of some help to you. Please feel free to Neomail me about my work. |
