So you've finally been inducted into the Neopian elite by making your first
million. Now what? Well, I've done some serious research and believe me, I've
seen it all. From tacky to tasteful. From a house filled with dung furniture,
to a Valentine's themed mansion, to shops filled with expensive, yet useless
items, to shops filled with items soon to increase in value. Some Neopians just
don't know how to spend their hard earned Neopoints. That's why I'm here to
help you on your quest to blowing your millions.
The most important rule in spending your Neopoints? Thinking... think of how
long it took you to make your millions. Do
you really want to blow all that in just a few days? You've worked for
it! Live it up. But allowing your NeoPet to live the high life doesn't mean
running amuck at all the most expensive shops. Choose wisely.
So just how and what do you spend you Neopoints on, now that you have all
that you've ever wanted? Well, here's a general run down of some must haves
for the average millionaire.
NeoHomes
A MUST on every NeoPet's list. Picture this... your NeoPet, living high atop
the clouds of Faerieland in their posh three story mansion. Wouldn't they love
it?! Buy them the best of everything. After all, they do deserve it!
NeoHome & Gardens
With the newest NeoPets feature to come around (NeoHome Gardens) you can now
buy some nice plants and flowers to adorn your NeoPets garden with. The perfect
thing to beautify their NeoHomes (or NeoMansions). Not to mention all the sets
of matching furniture! You can have a theme for every room, level or home! Oh
and the gnomes are out of this world.

Education
Now that you and your NeoPet are living large and taking charge, make their
education a priority. Buy them all the best books so they can brush up on
their reading skills. Plus, you never know, one day your NeoPet might be
looking at the coveted Book Award!
Fitness
Isn't it time your NeoPet started working out? After all the saving you've had
to do, your NeoPet probably hasn't had time to work out as they should. Send
them off to the Training Centre and buy them all the Codestones they've been
wanting. Not to mention the best potions and weapons for the Battledome.
Collections/Galleries (optional)
Have you always admired the different faerie foods? The posters? The plushies?
Or the Battledome weapons. Well, now that you have the means, you can splurge
and start up a collection of your own. The hottest collectibles out there will
set you back a few 100,000 Neopoints, but the best collectibles might be something
slightly cheaper. Remember when the Toy Cars were about 5 Neopoints each? Well,
check them out now and you'll wish you saved you old ones. Just remember the
prices for item today are not what they might be in a few months from now. So
do a little investigating and see what items could increase in value!
Save, save, save
Don't you want to save some of those hard earned Neopoints for a rainy day?
You never know when your NeoPet might come down with a 50,000 Neopoint disease
and you have to be able to cure your little NeoPets so they can be in tip top
shape to keep-a-spending. Always keep your Neopoints in the Bank, and set a
limit for yourself. Tell yourself you'll never let your Neopoint balance go
lower than, say, 100,000 Neopoints.
Be a Pal
Don't you remember how hard it was when you started out on NeoPets? It seemed
like you were never going to make it this far. And haven't you had some luck?
Well, you can make at least one NeoPet happy by donating to the Money Tree.
They're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and always accepting donations. It
could be some food your NeoPets isn't too keen on, or some Neopoints you don't
need. Come on, would you really miss them? And you'll be helping some little
NeoPets on their way to success as well.
But most of all, remember that Neopoints can come and go, but your NeoPet
is here to stay, so treat them to a night on the town every once in a while.
Send them off to the best Neolodge with all the finest accommodations. Even
if you're not going out of town, you can still play and feed your NeoPets while
they are in the Neolodge and they'll come back better rested and very appreciative!
