There was no sign of the Chias except a few footprints, which were ignored
by the Lupe, and Chia. Thunder and his son soon came to the spot where PyroThunder
was found. The two had a small snack in the area and then prepared to leave.
As they got up, Thunder detected something with his sense of smell. He sniffed
the air. He could not identify the smell so he walked away. He yawned, and when
his eyes opened, he noticed that he was surrounded by mean looking Chias armed
with Frost Cannons.
"You are in the territory of the Snowy Chia Clan. The Chia that you had captured
has been taken to safety. You are surrounded so I suggest that you drop your
weapons," said one of the Chias
"I am sorry. I did not realise I was in your territory. I will leave but that
Chia you took was by adopted son. Please let me take him home," said Thunder.
The Chias burst out laughing. "A Lupe with a Chia for a son! Yeah right! Now,
give us your weapons and we may let you go," said the Chia
"I am telling the truth! Ask him!" said Thunder.
"Drop your weapons."
"I am unarmed."
"Okay, Lupe Let's get some things straight. Number one, Lupes and Chias do
not get along therefore you can not be the father of the Chokato Chia Number
two, no Lupe walks around without weapons. So give us you weapons and you can
leave," said the Chia
"PyroThunder is my son and I will not leave without him. Also, I carry no
weapons. I am not a Lupe who likes to fight."
"Attack!"
The Chias attacked Thunder. He jumped and ducked the bolts from the Frost
Cannon. He was hit a few times but was not frozen. The Chias then attacked with
fists. They beat Thunder badly.
A group of the Chias dragged Thunder along the ice and snow. They locked him
in a cage and his paws were tied. He was given very little water and almost
no food.
The next day, Thunder just lay on the ground, still. PyroThunder heard of
a Lupe being captured and he went to see him. He had a feeling it was Thunder.
He was right and he told him that he would get him out of there.
He went to the leader of the clan. His name was SnowyChianess. PyroThunder
was somewhat of a celebrity in the clan so he was immediately admitted into
Snowy's office.
"Hello! Welcome to the Clan! I have been hoping to speak with you! What do
you think of the Clan?" said Snowy, smiling.
"I hate it," said PyroThunder. Snowy looked surprised.
"Why would say such a thing?"
"Let's see. First, you took me away from my father. Second, your army attacked
my father. Third, you thought him a liar when he told the truth. Fourth, you
looked him in a cage and are treating him horribly. Fifth, you expected me to
like it here."
"You mean to tell me that Lupe was telling the truth?"
"Yes, he was."
"What have we done? Listen, I will free the Lupe and we will send you home.
And I will find the Chia who ordered the attack and punish him."
"Let's see."
Thunder was freed. He was then asked to point out the Chia that ordered the
attack. Thunder picked him out with ease. The Chia was arrested and put in the
cage that Thunder had previously been in.
"I will order his punishment soon," said Snowy.
"There is no need to punish him. He did what he believed was the right thing
to do," said Thunder.
"But after what he did to you, we must do something," replied Snowy.
"I do not want him to be hurt," said Thunder.
"But…" said Snowy.
Thunder help up a paw and Snowy shut his mouth. Thunder motioned for all the
Chias to move away.
Thunder then ran and hit the cage as if he were checking it. The door broke
and almost fell on the captive's head. Thunder caught it in time and tossed
it to the side. The Chia walked out nervously, for fear he was going to be attacked.
"We must do something for you," said Snowy. "I got it! Follow me!"
Snowy walked away and Thunder followed, PyroThunder on his back. They were
led to an underground chamber full of Neopoints and rare items.
"Please, take whatever you wish," said Snowy.
"If you insist," said PyroThunder.
PyroThunder and Thunder walked through the room. PyroThunder picked up many
Neopoints and some candy. Thunder looked at the paint brushes in the room. Snowy
walked over and picked up a starry paint brush.
"Here. Take this. Lupes can now be painted a starry colour," said Snowy, handing
the brush to Thunder. Thunder took the brush and thanked Snowy.
"That is not enough. After what we did to you. Is there anything we can do?"
asked Snowy.
"Well, if you really want to know, I will tell you. I want your clan to not
be a Chia clan. I want it to be for all species, even Lupes But just peaceful
ones though," said Thunder.
"All right! I will do it! It will be called the Snow Clan of Peace!" said
Snowy.
Thunder left with PyroThunder. "Farewell, my friends!" Thunder called out.
"Don't forget to visit!" called Snowy.
The clan soon found some abandoned Lupe pups. They adopted them as their own.
Other species joined the clan. Soon, a bronze statue was created of a starry
Lupe and a Chokato Chia. An inscription on the base read, "Thunderboltjaws and
PyroThunder. The Lupe of peace and the Chia who was not afraid to be his friend
and son."
