"Right. Adee22 and Jumbleys, follow Lupa1 and Lupa2. They will show you how
to collect ingredients for the Giant Omelette, wash the people's clothes, restock
the shops, polish up the games, dust the concert and town hall and tidy up the
village. After that, you will report back to me in the town hall accompanied
by Lupa1 and 2. Is that clear?" Graalmot74 asked.
The Chia and the Shoyru nodded then trudged behind the Lupe twins towards the
village.
That just left myself and Billabong525. I felt extremely scared.
"OK, you two will have less, but harder jobs. You will begin by making sure
all shop stock is up to standard. Then you must come to the concert hall and
arrange the bands that are playing tonight. After that, you will deliver mail,
prepare food for the Beast and finally carve Tyrannian soldiers for our new
Hall of Fame. Those sculptures will be carved out of stone. Is all that info
clear?" inquired Graalmot74.
"Yes sir," we answered in chorus. Neither of us was happy with our tasks.
I have actually worked for Neopoints in my life, but that was at the happy and
friendly Employment Agency in Faerieland.

Adee22 and Jumbleys were busy running around the village collecting omelette
ingredients. Their sacks were extremely heavy and there were at least five hundred
streets to go.
Jumbleys was very hungry and reached inside his sack for a piece of streaky
bacon bacon, but Adee22 stopped her, warning her that the twin Lupes
would prosecute them for stealing and eating village 'property'.
With a big sigh, Jumbleys took her hand out from the sack and the two of them
plod on towards the next street.

Meanwhile, Billabong525 and I were worn out from checking the shops' stock.
It was extremely difficult, believe me. Every scratch had to be covered up,
chips filled, food thrown out if moldy etc.
The worst part had to be sniffing all of the Dung Chairs. They had to smell
what the Tyrannians called 'perfect'. Eeeeeeewwww. Totally gross, I know.
As I examined a sculpture of a Chomby, I wished so hard that I was back home
and living a comfortable life.
The sun had set hours ago and a concert at the concert hall was underway. Adee22,
Billabong525, Jumbleys and I were eating our supper. Supper, in case you wished
to know, was poorly cooked boiled plant 'n' carrot soup with rock cakes for
dessert. Life wasn't pleasant if you weren't used to it.
Lara still didn't know that I was somewhere far away from Faerieland where
she thought I was. I'd have to tell her the truth as soon as I got home. Well,
if I actually ever got to go home. Maybe when we served the Snowager, we could
sneak down the mountain and return to my house. Then, Lara could drop off the
others to their rightful NeoHomes.
"Hey, Jumbleys, did Graalmot74 tell you where we would sleep tonight?" I asked
hesitantly. According to Adee22, Jumbleys was extremely shy when she was sad.
Jumbleys simply nodded without a sound and pointed to a tiny cave a few yards
away. It was dirty, but had soft sand and a few quilted blankets. Just barely
enough for a night's sleep…

"Up you get you lazy little runts!" Lupa1 barked at us, "Graalmot74 said that
you must move on to the Haunted Woods in fifteen minutes. That should give you
enough time to clean yourselves up."
I strolled out of the tiny cave and spotted a slightly larger cave with fresh
flowing water. As I got closer, I heard a sobbing noise from inside. I peered
in to have a look at the source of that noise and spotted a blue Kau with a
wizard's hat.
"Are you… Kauvara?" I questioned.
The Kau turned around to face me and spoke in a quiet voice, "Are you heading
towards the Haunted Woods today?"
I merely nodded.
"Brilliant! I can go back home and to my potion lab now!" she cried in joy.
Again, she faced me and looked me in the eye.
"What's your name and where do you come from?"
"I'm Blizzardball2000 the Mynci and I live in Happy Valley. I'm with three
others: Adee22 the Chia, Jumbleys the Shoyru and Billabong525 the Kacheek. We
are all trying to escape, but haven't a clue what to do. Can you help us, please?"
I pleaded.
Kauvara scratched her head, hesitating.
