Terror Mountain...
Again, Zack T. Fuzzle had to come along with King for another documentary.
Instead of making documentaries on wild PetPets, it was now the dangerous Snowager,
and the rest of the Ice Caves. To Zack's relief and to King's horror, Joey and
Sen had to come along as well. Though it wasn't as busy as Christmas time, it
was still packed with tourists outside in Happy Valley, but the Ice Caves was
still quiet and creepy. Pets and owners all over were often frightened of the
snores of the Snowager, so this was the main reason it was just lonely and quiet.
Zack, Joey, and Sen were left out to try to enjoy the slopes of the mountains.
Joey and Sen were having a snowball fight; even Zack joined in and decided to
put down his Fuzzology studies. Ever since the time he discovered he was a former-Fuzzle
(a Jubjub who went through the evolution), he was addicted to Fuzzology in order
to learn more about his "kind." He considered it a hobby, but seemed more like
his life. All three were wearing hats, scarfs, etc.
"Oww!" yelped Sen, he was hit by a large snowball by Joey. Then Sen began
to back up, rubbing his head, and slipped over the sled they were using. Pretty
soon, Sen began rolling down the slopes on the sled, going further and further
("AHHHH! HELP! BRING MY FUDGY DELIGHTS!") down the mountain. The slopes weren't
very tall, which made it easy for something to go over mountain by mountain.
The sled took the poor Mynci all the way down to a sudden stop.
"You all right?" asked Joey, with Zack on the top of a hill. Sen echoed back,
"I'm fine! Now help me!" By the time Zack and Joey got there, Sen was whimpering
in pain... he sprained his wrist. The snow began to loosen up more as the three
were moving around quite a lot. After a quick three minutes the snow was moving
freely, until the sled began to move forward again. Then, instead of going forward,
they came to a complete stop, down a narrow, long crack.
"Where are we?" asked Zack.
"Fracture in the ice. Almost impossible to see. Also difficult to escape from,"
Joey replied. He looked up, and so did the others. The crack was twenty feet
tall. And even worse, the area was rarely visited. Pretty soon, all three were
yelling for help ("HELP!"..."SOMEBODY SAVE US!" "BRING FUDGY DELIG--" "SEN!").
Meanwhile, a couple of feet away from the ice fracture, there was a large sign
in big black words: WARNING: Avalanche Zone. And the warning meant well.
A huge mountain in the avalanche zone began breaking up until... a rumbling
noise came up.
"What's that sound?" wondered Sen, still clutching his wrist in pain. Joey
began to open his mouth to answer, but Zack opened his first. "Avalanche!!!"
And so it was. Tons of snow began raging through the mountain, knocking trees
off their roots and coming their way. "We're gonna be buried ALIVE!" Joey began
thinking calmly rather than doing his specialty... panicking. He began banging
his head on the icy walls muttering, "What was that idea, what was that idea,
what was that idea??" Then after banging himself on the wall sixteen times,
some sense came to him. He looked up and noticed a feeble branch hanging up
high.
"Give me your scarfs," commanded Joey. They did as they were told. He tied
them together to a belt. Joey swung the scarf at the branch, hoping to reach
it. Zack, who was much taller than Joey, desperately snatched the belt and scarfs
tied together and swung it at the branch. Finally, after much effort, the belt
caught hold of the branch. Joey rushed Zack and Sen up the wall, climbing their
way out. Zack and Sen (with one arm) grabbed Joey and tugged him out of the
fracture. Just in time... the avalanche filled up the fracture, making it impossible
to see anymore.
"Phew!" said Joey. "Piffle! Piffle? Where'd I get that?" The word "Piffle"
was known as Al
the Chia's famous catch phrase. Exhausted, a white Lupe named Tae managed
to give all three a ride back down the mountain to the middle of Happy Valley,
where their cabin resided. Sen was in a sling after he got back. What a day,
thought Zack. It wasn't over yet. As they decided to go on one last walk in
Happy Valley, and walked into a field, where snow covered every inch. They ran
into a nightmare, Tarreon Khiln and his "bodyguards". He insulted them (brainless
Fuzzheads and dumb monkey) with names. Several groups of other pets were making
snow pets. What really got the three's attention was a rather bulky one. Joey
began poking it with interest. Then all of a sudden the snowman SPOKE!
"Hey, cut it out. I have feelings mentally and physically ya' know." Zack,
Sen, and Joey jumped back, and hid behind a large snowball. Zack was the only
one to know what it was.
"Hey, you're a... a... frost beast!!" Zack said in horror. He grew pale. Joey
and Sen yelped of fright, but tried to hold it back.
"Yep. And please! Please! Don't be tellin' people and pets about me! I hate
bein' the monster! Those brothers of mine are no good!!" The Frost Beast was
big and bulky, but it seemed small compared to the ones who attacked Happy
Valley with snowballs before. After a while, they seemed to have taken
a liking to him. He was friendly for a beast, and seemed to be crying all the
time whenever someone screamed at him. Pretty soon, Tarreon Khiln came up to
the three, four if you counted the Frost Beast.
"What're you nitwits doing? Talking to a snowman. Well, that's new for you
idiots! Haha!" Tarreon hollered.
"And you got a problem with that?" said the Frost Beast. He turned around
slowly, allowing himself to be shown in front of Tarreon and the Grarrls.
"Oh my Faerie Queen," stuttered Tarreon. "A-a-a-a-a... Frost B-b-beast!!"
The Frost Beast smiled and let out a menacing roar. Tarreon and the Grarrls
yelled, "AHHHHHH!!" and ran for their lives. Actually it was more like waddling
for their lives.
"Thanks," said Joey, with gratitude.
"Call me Eddie," said the Frost Beast.
Zack and the others ran back, laughing all the way.
Later on that night, King came in. He was holding of his documentary on the
Snowager.
King smiled and said, "Anyone want a hike to the Ice Caves? I'm free now."
The three pets looked at him, and fainted with exhaustion.
