Kitara suddenly gasped, "Kargupi, it's the Faerie Queen!"
And sure enough, Kargupi looked up at the faerie, and recognised her as one
of the most important people in Neopia.
"Thank you, your highness." Kargupi bowed sheepishly.
"Come with me, this way hurry now," said the Faerie Queen (in caps!) And hovered
up the winding stairs of the tower.
"Excuse me miss Faerie Queen, do you have a...plan of something? InfinityHell
will destroy Faerieland if we don't act fast!" said Kargupi, running up the
stairs after her. "And it's the favourite world, according to a poll!" he added.
"Yes, but we must act fast," she said.
Kitara came running up the stairs behind him and said, "This...this is the
Hidden Tower isn't it?"
"Good, and the Hidden Tower has...?"
"The most powerful weapons in Neopia!" said Kargupi, excited.
"Not only that, but, as you know, these are all old artifacts. Now, this tower
is also home to the air shard, I know you have the other two shard, with this,
you can complete the set and destroy Infinity forever. However, it takes some
time to prepare, you will have to hold off Infinity for a while."
"Prepa--" started Kargupi.
"When the shards unite, they will change into the secondary shards, which hold
incredible power. This only ever happened once, I united them and granted the
faeries their different elements, which is how they still are, fire, earth,
or grass as it is sometimes called, air, water, dark and light. It takes some
time for them to transform, so you will have to hold them off."
They reached the top room of the tower, and Kargupi let out a sigh, looking
at the amazing weapons, wishing he could even afford one. The wind blasted powerfully
outside, and the tower shook a little.
"Take any weapons on your choice, you will need them," said the Faerie Queen,
and she disappeared into another room.
"Wooow!" said Kitara. "Anything we like!"
Kargupi rushed along and gazed in awe at the fact that he could battle with
these items. He grabbed a load of them, and stuffed them into his little back
pack. He also pulled the two other shards from his backpack.
"Here it is, are you ready?" said the Faerie Queen, and showed them a translucent
bluish crystal, which reflected the light at an odd angle. The whole tower shook
as the tornado thrashed against its well-built walls.
Kargupi handed her the other two shards and she lay them on the floor. She
pushed them together, and they snapped into place, as if they were now one crystal.
Their individual colours disappeared, and it flashed through the colours of
the rainbow, and they gasped in awe and shielded their eyes. When they opened
their eyes, a large crystal lay in the middle of the room, separated into three
different colours.
SNAP!
The crystal fell into three, one greeny blue, the water shard Kargupi guessed,
one a bright yellow, the light shard, and one a dark purple, the dark shard.
They pulsated, as if they were alive, and the Faerie Queen said, "It is not
safe to touch them now, they have to stabilize, now go!"
They opened the window and were sucked out, as the Faerie Queen fought to shut
the window after them.
"Ready Kargupi?" called Kitara, pulling out a Wand of Flamebolt. "I always
wanted a wand!"
"Yeah! This'll be cool! I didn't think I'd fight with these for a long time!"
replied Kargupi, grasping a Rod of Dark Nova as they were sucked towards InfinityHell.
"You think it's safe to use that? Kitara asked. "Remember what you told yourself
about using dark energy too much."
"Don't worry, I've learned my lesson the hard way, setting HIM free" replied
Kargupi.
"OK then, NOW!" yelled Kitara, and blasted an energy ball from the Wand of
Flamebolt. Kargupi blasted a small zap of energy from the Rod of Dark Nova.
They entered the tornado, and they heard bangs and zaps coming from inside.
The twister suddenly died out, and they saw a small figure plummeting to the
clouds below.
They followed Infinity down, and watched as he straightened up and flew into
the air near them.
"Ha! Come out to fight?! You've been annoying me ever since you let me free,
now you'll be the first to be destroyed!"
"Nya! All you ever do is bore us with speeches on how "you will destroy me".
Well guess what it's the other way round!" said Kargupi, and lobbed Shrunken
Skull Marbles in his face, causing a great deal of smoke and noise.
"You'll pay for that!" said a voice from the dust, and Infinity came out smashing
into Kargupi's stomach and kicking him downwards. Kargupi shot towards the ground,
and Infinity powered up a fireball and shot it down at Kargupi.
Kitara saw what was going on and threw a Rainbow Swirly Thing through the air
like a Frisbee, hitting the fireball and sending it off track.
Kargupi jumped up from the ground, pulled a Bombaberry elixir out of his bag
and swigged it down. Meanwhile InfinityHell conjured up a massive Shoyru inferno
and threw it towards Kitara. She quickly grabbed a Reflectozap 2000 from her
bag and held it in front of her. She struggled to keep it still as it chugged
up the inferno and shot it back. Infinity suffered the full blast and fell towards
the ground, hurt badly.
"Haha! We've done it!" whooped Kargupi from the ground, hopping up and down,
but it wasn't over yet.
InfinityHell flipped over upright in midair and stopped himself hitting the
cloud by flapping his wings hard.
"I told you, THERE IS NO WAY TO DEFEAT ME! YOU'RE TOO WEAK EVEN WITH THOSE
WEAPONS!!!" he yelled angrily. "Wait, why are you trying to fight me? Why did
you come out of your safe little tower? That's it!!! You nasty little sneaks,
you actually thought you could trick me?!"
And with that he flew towards the Hidden Tower, with a fiery aura around him.
Kitara tried to grab him as he flew past, but scorched her hands.
He went through the window and said "Faerie Queen! I thank you for uniting
the shards for me! It has made my job of destroying the world much easier!"
"What?" said Kargupi, flying through the window with Kitara. "I thought you
just wanted to take over Neopia, not destroy it!"
"My dear Kargupi" chuckled Infinity. "Destroying, is WHAT I DO."
InfinityHell picked up the dark shard on the ground, and held it out in front
of him.
"How can he hold it? It's not stable yet!" exclaimed Kargupi.
"He's purest of evil, he can hold the dark shard because it reflects himself,"
said the Faerie Queen. "And he doesn't need the others, because he can harness
the powers of the dark shard more than anyone else. He has the power."
And as she said it, both Infinity and the dark shard began to glow.
"He's absorbing the power!" yelled Kitara "He'll destroy Neopia can't we do
something!?"
"I can," said Kargupi. And he ran over to the two other shards. He breathed
heavily, and picked up the light shard.
"No!" yelled Kitara, and Kargupi began to glow too.
"Never! You'll never destroy Neopia! Millions are depending on it!" said Kargupi,
glowing with the power of the shard, grimacing with pain, and fired a shot of
light at the dark shard. Both the shards shattered into millions of pieces,
and disappeared. Kargupi and Infinity fell to the ground, motionless.
The Faerie Queen and Kitara ran over to them and the Faerie Queen looked closely
at Kargupi.
"He's gone. He and InfinityHell became one with the shards, and when they shattered,
the bearers went...too. What a sacrifice."
"There's...no...he's gone?" said Kitara. "Can't you DO something?"
The Faerie Queen's eyes suddenly brightened and looked over at the water shard.
"Bring me the water shard."
Kitara rushed over and picked up the bluey-green crystal, and handed it to
the Faerie Queen.
"This shard...has amazing healing powers," said the Faerie Queen. She pressed
it to Kargupi's heart, and it glowed brightly. Kargupi suddenly blinked his
eyes open.
"I'm alive," he said.

After that, Infinity was gone, all the shards were gone (with the other shards
gone, after they used the water shard was used, it vanished, with nothing more
to do. Normally, it would have reunited with the other shards and turned back
to the primary shards, but with the other shards destroyed, it disappeared too.),
and Kargupi was returned back to an amazed and confused family. Despite Kargupi's
cries of "What!? Unfair!" the Hidden Tower weapons were returned to the Hidden
Tower. "These aren't toys, they're the most powerful weapons in the world! I
can't just go handing them out!" were the words of the Faerie Queen. And so,
this adventure ended. But you can guarantee, not for long!
