The Neopian Hot Spots
Most Neopians have probably already noticed: Neopia is soooo big! It is really
hard to decide where to go with so much selection. I have decided to compile
a list of the top 10 Pages on NeoPets, and why these should be your first stops
in Neopia, just in case you cannot be on-line for so long.
10. Healing Springs
The Healing Springs are free, and you can go there every hour or so. The healing
might not be that great if your pet is already fully healed, or does not battle,
but the real perks are the free healing potions. I seem to get healing potions
1 out of 3 times when I visit the springs, and they sell for 10-200 NP. Not
9. Fruit Machine
You get one free game a day, so why not use it? Although the Fruit Machine has
not been very successful for me, you might want to try your luck. The few prizes
I have gotten have not been all that great, but it is still worth a try!
Go collect your interest! It might not be very much, but it is always something.
Be sure to deposit some Neopoints if you have too many with you, that way you
will get more interest tomorrow.
7. Meerca Chase
Ok, maybe it is just me, but this game is good for getting NP. I can usually
get about 300 each game, although mostly I am too impatient and just send the
score at 200. Play all 3 games, and even a novice can manage about 500 NP a
day off of this game.
6. Coltzan's Shrine
Some might argue that this is one of the truly BEST places in Neopia to go to,
but I just have not had any luck at all with it. Four out of five times the
shrine does nothing for me, that one other time I am either fully healed or
get some Lost Desert food that sells for 10 NP. But hey, you might not have
as much bad luck as I do here.
Another free game every day, this one seems to pay out more often. Even if you
lose you will get a booby prize (although many seem to be thinking of these
as curses now-a-days), and sometimes some Neopoints from the nice Mr. Tiki man
who sympathises with us all. Common prizes for winning are faeries, codestones,
and gross foods.
4. Kiko Match
Definetly one of the best games out there, Kiko match makes for an easy 1200
NP a day. Since NeoPets has returned to doubling your score on Kiko Match if
you can score 110 points (very easy), it should be no trouble for most people
to score around 400 NP a game, if not more.
3. Wheel of Excitement
Wow, the first thing on my list that is not free. The Wheel of Excitement costs
100 NP to play, and usually gives out much bigger rewards (you could win 10,000
NP) . My average winnings range from 200-500 NP; sometimes my pet's move levels
up, or I get an item. Even though the Pant Devil can steal from you, your pet
could get zapped, and you often get the "mystery" prize of 10-90 NP, this is
definetly a worth while stop in Faerieland.
Okay, this is truly just my personal opinion, and for many, this might be a
terrible game, but I love it. My account is pretty old (14 months), so I can
bet almost 500 NP, more than your average Neopian. I play the game on stupidly
fast, and receive nearly 1000 NP per game, to a total of 4000 NP. This might
not be the case with most of you out there (Yeah, I mean you!), since you might
not be able to win the stupidly fast speed level, or might not be able to bet
as many NP as I can, but I truly believe this to be the most profitable game
Come on, you are not going to play NeoPets without checking the news, are you?
Anything and everything that is happening in Neopia is posted here, and you
do not want to miss out, do you? The news is worth a visit every day, who knows,
maybe a new story is going on, or that colour you've always wanted to paint
your Kougra in has finally come out! You will not know if you do not check the
news, so stop by the #1 Hot Spot in Neopia... NEWS!
