NeoPets Checkbook by merlin775 | |
For one month (from October 19 to November 19) I kept a checkbook record of
all the things did on NeoPets involving NP. I found that through the use of
the checkbook I made at least 10,000 NP a day and sometimes more! I thought
in this article I will give you some tips to manage your own checkbook and recount
some of the more successful days in mine.
Starting and Managing Your Own Checkbook
For my checkbook I used one of my parents extra register books that the bank
sends them with checks. Each day I would write the date in numerical form in
the ‘date’ column and that would be the only time I wrote it that day. On weekends
I would classify the weekend as one big day and write ‘Weekend’ in the ‘number’
column since it was big enough. I have rules that I bind myself to to keep from
spending too much NP. If I want to buy something I cant withdraw money from
the bank to buy it. I have to earn it and get enough in the lower left hand
corner of my screen, what I call, spending money. At the end of each day I deposit
my money rounded to the nearest 500. (If I had 25,698 I would deposit 25,500.
Then I would have the rest as Startup cost for the next day.) This I recorded
as ‘Deposit-25,500’ and put my current bank account total in the ‘balance’ column.
I made sure to keep track of everything, including random events. If a ghost
stole 20 of my Neopoints I wrote it down as ‘Random Event - 20’. I also kept
track of things I sold a certain way. If I got a codestone in a random event
I didn’t write it down until I had sold it. Then I write ‘Lu Codestone-3,000’.
Hopefully this gives you some ideas for managing your own book, but if you need
help feel free to Neomail me.
Tips and My Most Successful Day
Each day I followed a routine I had set up and found to bet the most successful
way through trial and error. Everyday I played Meerca Chase, sending score three
times with scores at least over 100. Kiko Match, sending score three times scoring
over 200 each time. Deckswabber, sending score three times scoring over 300
each time so that I gained a Dubloon each time. Swarm, sending score three times
scoring over 150 each time. Switch-A-Roo, on the highest level the maximum number
of times. Then I went to the Wheel of Mediocrity, the giant omelette, Coltzan’s
Shrine, the Fruit machine, Tombola, The Wheel of Excitement, and the Healing
Springs. Then I would go to my shop and put in whatever I had gained priced
to sell fast. Then I played Poogle Solitaire if I could and did the Treasure
Hunt. I sold the Space Map I got from the Hunt and collected my earnings from
the things I sold earlier. At this time I put my Dubloons and such into my checkbook.
Then I just did whatever I wanted to and made a little NP here and a little
there, but my main chunk for the day was set. When I logged in things like the
wheels I put them as losses unless I made NP then I subtracted my cost for spinning
them.
My most successful day was Saturday, November 10, 2001. Here is the log for
that day.

I know that’s really long but I thought it would be better for
it all to be there for those of you who could use it then to summarise. As
you can see, on that day I had more than a little free time, extraordinary
luck, and played almost all the games. That’s the best thing to do, play games.
In the duration of my month long test I earned 292,303 NP.
Note from the writer: I hope this answers all your questions about Neocheckbooks
and how to run them. If not, however, please feel free to Neomail me with questions
and comments. |
