When Viverna woke, she felt different, much different. She felt older, and...heavier. She looked down at her hand and cried out in fear. It was a paw!
A Cloud Lupe paw, to be exact. What has happened to me? I don’t even know
who I am anymore! Viverna’s mind cried, and she trembled in fear. She raced
around in the prison, unable to control her fear. And how long have I been
asleep? I’m a Shoyru! A Shoyru!
FLASH!
Ah, so you have returned. It was Tikara-lu.
“Returned?! As what, a Lupe?! But I’m a Shoyru!” I protested.
Tikara-lu chuckled; her laugh was like the chimes of the wind. Viverna,
you never had memory before you were 7 years old. Do you know why?
“Well, no,” I admitted.
That’s because you were Moonlusion.
The news shocked me. How could I be a Lupe, and never know it? “Not true.
I would remember if I was a Lupe.”
You did not know you were a Lupe because of the Anklet. The only way to
come back to your original form was for you to strike the Anklet on your own.
“So that means...that I am a true Lupe, and not a Shoyru?”
Correct.
“And that’s why I’m the only silver Shoyru? And that’s why I had a different
personality?”
Yes. And it’s also why you fought with the passion you did against Evien.
He destroyed your parents.
Memory flew back to me like someone striking my head with a Basher; I could
remember everything!
You remember now, do you not?
I nodded grimly.
Good. Now free yourself, Moonlusion. You know how.
FLASH!
Moonlusion was a very powerful Lupe, and she quickly escaped from the Grarrl’s
prison. It was now time that Evien got what he deserved.
A startled Grarrl stared at her. “B-b-but you were destroyed a long time ago.!”
Moonlusion smirked. “Not anymore.”
She smacked the Grarrl with the back end of her paw, and he fell to the floor.
“Evien!” she called. “It’s me, Moonlusion! I have come back, and now it’s time
for you to pay!”
She sprinted down the hallways, until finally she found his room. She burst
through the door and landed in Evien’s room.
“You’re not alive!” Evien accused.
“No, Evien, I’m not. You know the Shoyru you captured downstairs? That was
I.”
“But it’s been a month! That Shoyru is long gone!” I’ve been like this for
a month? Moonlusion asked herself. That means my birthday has passed!
“You have destroyed my parents long ago. Now I will come to take what is rightfully
mine.”
“A-a-and w-what is t-t-that?” Evien stuttered.
“Your life!” Moonlusion snarled, and pounced upon the Grarrl.
About 20 minutes later, Moonlusion stood up. “You may have destroyed my parents,”
Moonlusion said, “But now you can never destroy me.” She spat on him, and then
she ran out of the room. It was about time she saw Gwen and Baron and...Triren
again.
FLASH!
You wanted to talk to me, Moonlusion?
“Yes. Why did I suddenly remember everything that had happened to me?”
The spell put on you worked with emotion. Only when you would give up on your
life would this charm work. When it did, it turned you into a Shoyru to protect
you from Evien. Well, when you were transformed back, you had no memory of your
past life, until I brought up something that caused strong emotion, causing
the spell to break.
“Oh, I understand now. Thank you Tikara-lu.”
And what else do you want to ask me?
“You always know what I’m thinking, don’t you?” I chuckled.
“Can I turn back into a Shoyru?”
No, you are not allowed, but for all of the effort you put into saving the
Lupes, I will let you turn into a Shoyru one more time, whenever you ask.
“And how will I know how to ask?”
You will know how, when the time comes. Good luck, Moonlusion.
“And safe journeys into the realm of dreamers, Tikara-lu.”
FLASH!
Moonlusion smiled. At last she could go home. “Triren!” she called, “I’m coming!”
