Does it seem as if every time you turn around, there's a tiny little number
written in the bottom left corner of the screen? Does it shock you to look closer
and then see that that number is actually your Neopoints?
If you are at all like me, you face this dilemma every day. When this happens,
I just navigate around the site until I find something to do that will give
me money. Usually I find myself at the Poogle
Racetrack, betting and hitting the refresh button until the race starts.
It always strikes me as odd that none of the Poogles have names, just numbers.
Poogle #1. Poogle #2. Poogle #5. Hello? These are probably the only pets in
Neopia that don't seem to have names or owners! And what's the deal with those
trophies? Are they worth anything at all? Do the Poogles even get paid for this?
These rare pets can't be created anymore! They deserve better treatment then
this! They obviously have no owners to protect, feed and care for them, and
no names as well!
Not only that, but they are all categorised as good, bad, terrible. You would
think that they don't have rights; just given a number, sorted by their speed,
and expected to race every 15 minutes. Poogles number 2-5 deserve a chance too!
After racing every fifteen minutes for months, they deserve a chance in the
spotlight; to be described as something other than "could be the fastest Poogle"
or "normally very clumsy" or "getting old" or "this chubby Poogle." Poogle #1
just hogs everything!
Personally, I can never stand to see the heartbroken faces of the losing Poogles
at the end of the race! It really doesn't help that the winner just stands there
and dances either, does it?
If someone doesn't start a N.S.P.C.P. (Neopian Society for Prevention of Cruelty
to Poogles) soon, I will! Who's with me? |
