Neopian Schools: The Sequel to The Neopian Academy

by chimesjon

Now that you've read about the schools of Neopia, now it's time to learn what schools there are in Neopia. There are many schools that are public in Neopia, but there are famous schools that are the landmarks. Here are the schools from around Neopia with a brief summary next to the school title.

Neopia Central~The Neopian Academy
The one and only Neopian Academy. This is the most common school around the world of Neopia. Full of various facts about history, science, mathematics, and grammar. The Academy is where the famous Lenny from Lenny Trivia had once taught. This school is where the Soup Faerie usually pays visits to, giving the students her soothing stews. She mostly visits this specific school because it was the closest to her. She has her reasons. Many of the books here including Algebra, Basic Math, and Geometry were first printed here. This academy is definitely a tourist site for Newbies!

Faerieland~Faerie Palace University
One of the most famous worlds of Neopia is Faerieland. It's famous for Marina the Water Faerie in charge of Healing Springs, the Wheel of Excitement, and the Faerieland Employment Agency. The school here is very famous indeed. The teachers are mainly Faeries, mostly Water Faeries, who are known for their love for reading. The books are supplied by the Faerieland Bookstore, giving students an endless supply. This place is also visited by the two faeries, Soup and Jhuidah, because of their birthplace is here, (it's obvious: they're both Faeries!). Founded by the Faerie Queen herself, she rarely governs the school with all the duties she has already, giving out quests, watching over Neopia. This school is very expensive to attend because it is set with marvelous treasures. Usually the wealthy pets attend this treasure filled academy.

Terror Mountain~Snowy Valley High
This is the only school in Neopia actually recorded in the Neopedia. As the name suggests, only pets level 10 and over may attend this school. They get the state of the art treatment. Their mascot is Frothy the Snow Poogle. Snowy Valley High was founded in Year 3. The high school is famous for its highest rate cafeteria, higher than even Faerieland. It's also famous for Zairiu the Swift, and Neo arctic explorer Snow Shoono, who graduated from the school. There's much more info about this school in the Neopedia, check it out for yourself!

Tyrannia~ Grarrg's Military Academy
This school was named after famous Grarrl, Grarrg. The fields taught here include the art of the Battledome, strategies, and more. Grarrg didn't only include Battledome teachings, he also put math, language, and science. History wasn't needed because Tyrannia was the beginning of Neopian civilization. Since books weren't invented in such an early time, they carved their "textbooks" out of solid rock weighing 10 pounds each book. Since this was a military to train students, the weight of their textbooks didn't seem to bother them. You definitely don't want to see the desks and chairs there. The variety of the desktops and chairs are made of complete DUNG! Hey, you can't blame the Tyrannian's way of life. This school is known as the first school of Neopian history.

Mystery Island~Mumbo Pango University of Neopia
Many have thought the Mystery Island Training School was the school, but this is it. Named after the feared Mumbo Pango, the tribesmen built this out of palm tree leaves, bamboo stems, etc. This mainly taught the students the beliefs of Mystery Island, the landmarks, and food there. The first teacher there was the Island Mystic, who taught the beliefs held in Mystery Island. The Island Shopkeeper graduated from the school, and got a "Mystery Island Creativity Award", which gave him the ability to sell the creative island merchandises for sale.

Haunted Woods~ The Brain Tree
There wasn't any school discovered in the Haunted Woods. The Brain Tree was their source of knowing about the outside world. The citizens would gather around the tree as he told them everything he knew. A theory for the Brain Tree's quests are when he learns the new information gathered by Neopians, he will share the information with the citizens of the Haunted Woods.

Lost Desert~Sakhmet Scroll Reading Academy
The pets here are taught with the help of expert readers of the scrolls, for the scrolls were in hieroglyphics. This school's curriculum was very difficult to follow. After learning a particular subject from the scrolls, and when it is time for lunch, they would have to walk across the hot sand to the Food Stall, and had to hurry back to the school's large tent on time, hopefully. The Lost Desert students were very used to this. If an exchange student were to go to the academy, he/she will have a hard time finding the school after lunch.

Krawk Island~???
Not much is known about this new world. The Krawks there were quite mindless about the place. The only people who taught them were the evil pirates.

I hope this has helped you.
