Poogles and Kacheeks: The Stages of Evolution

by celebi222555111

This article is wrote in response to the article Kacheeks and Poogles: A Fork In the Evolution Road or Just a Coincidence? by Armadi. I've been searching very hard, gathering extremely hard to find information, on the pet that the Kacheeks and Poogles originally evolved from. The species was called Kagle. I found out all of the following information from the Tyrannians, who have passed this story down for generations.

A long, long, loooooooong time ago, in Tyrannia, before people found Neopia, there lived plenty or prehistoric Buzz, Elephante, Kyrii, and others. Among them were many Kagles. They all lived together in peace. Kagles looked basically like Kacheeks, except they had Poogle noses and walked on all fours. Their tail was like the tail of a cheetah: Long, slender, and every inch of it the same, not like the Kacheek or Poogle. And they had small, round buck teeth. They lived happily, different species side by side, until the day the Kagles split...

When the obelisk was made. A small group of Buzzes worked with a few Kyrii and two Kagles. The Kagles got in to a fight.

"Ugga-ug-ug-ugga-ugg!"

"Ugga, ugghugga ugghugga ugghugga!"

"Mek! Ugga ug-ug-ugga UG!!"

"Ugga! Ugga ug-ugga ug UGGA!!!"

Translated, that's "Move it a meter to the left!"

"No, you should move it a meter and a half to the right!"

"Wrong! It should be moved a meter LEFT!!"

"No! I said a meter and half to the RIGHT!!!"

At this point, the first Kagle, the one who thought it should go left, Pukino, and the second one, Haruka, gathered up all their friends, family, and neighbours and went in to a small war. The war ended with none of them seriously hurt, but all of them were tired and scared, so the two groups went their separate ways.

Pukino and his half lived in a harsh forest by Techo Mountain on Mystery Island. They had to forage, and often fight, for food. They grew teeth to help them fight, and their tails grew short and stubby. They stayed on four legs to help them run faster. These Kagles are now Poogles. But due to having owners to care for them, they have become slightly softer and more lovable.

Hakura and her half ran off to Neopia. They walked on two legs, so they could see farther, and their front legs developed in to small paws. Their ears holes grew over, making the floppy ears that we see now. They took the easy path, around the forest and mountains instead of through and over them. Their tails grew white in the winter due to their new hate of violence, so they could hide in the snow but still have part of the gather warmth while staying out of the cold snow. And those were the first ever Badeeks. A slightly harsh, but slightly relaxed lifestyle. When they arrived in Neopia, owners thought they were extremely cute and lovable, so they then lived a comfortable, relaxed life, turning them in to the Kacheeks that we know and love.

From that day on, it's been a mystery as to how they have the same sort of ears. A mystery as to how they look alike. A mystery as to how they have similar things in them. Well now you know.
