Robots surrounded us everywhere. It looked like we had nowhere to go. Suddenly,
the leader of the robots spoke to us.
“Identify yourselves! Or suffer Sloth’s wrath!!” The robots' voices sounded,
in a way, very real, but I never actually heard a robot talk so how was I to
know. The evil voice came once again…
“It’s the Space Faerie you fools! Get them now!” I didn’t recognise the voice,
but the Space Faerie did!
“It’s Sloth, watch out!” I turned around to see a robot’s laser coming straight
at me! I raised my hand up as a reaction. I closed my eyes. I felt a strong
pressure pushing against my body, but felt nothing! I opened my eyes and saw
a bubble shield surrounding me!
I knew it was one of the Water Faerie’s abilities and I knew that I was 008!
“Hey Space Faerie! What happened?” No response came. The water disappeared
and I turned around to see just in the nick of time, the Space Faerie was being
carried away by robots!!!
I looked around and robots came closer to me. Suddenly a robot hit me in the
head. The blow was very strong and knocked me unconscious…
I awoke in pain. My head was aching with pain. I’m sure this wasn’t any game.
That Hit could have destroyed me! I opened my eye. I was in a cell. I saw other
cells across from me. Where was I? How was I going to get out?
“Your in the ship’s Dungeon. Sloth stores the people he captures in here.”
I looked back to see a little girl sitting there.
“What? How did you….?” The little girl stared blankly at me.
“I can read minds. I have that ability. I can simply use my mind to bend the
bars and let you out.” I watched as she stared at the metal bars. The bars started
to move and was soon wide open.
“Are you coming with me?” I didn’t ask her why she didn’t escape, she probably
has a reason.
“No, Sloth is too dangerous. He has many evil thoughts in his head. He holds
a secret that he has somehow been able to contain from his thoughts. I do not
know what it is. Besides, he plans to destroy Neopia, and other worlds too.”
I felt saddened by the way she said the words.
“Why does he want to destroy other worlds? Doesn’t he want to try and rule
Neopia? Or destroy it…”
“Neopia is not enough…..” she replied with sadness. She put her hand down on
the ground. A light began to shimmer from it. The light grew stronger and nearly
blinded me. Then it all went away and a sword was on the floor.
“It’s a magical sword. Here take it. By the way, what’s your name? Mine's Karen
Smith.” I grabbed the sword she handed me.
“My name is Bund….John Bund.” I walked out and couldn’t help laughing before
leaving the cell. I saw other cells containing slaves and NeoPets that have
been somehow transformed. It was a really sad thing to see.
“Don’t mind them, they’re just experiments.” I knew it was Sloth. He had an
evil sense in his voice.
“Who do you think you are child?” Sloth locked his eyes on me.
“I’m your worst enemy! My family destroyed your father!” I smiled. He grinned
back.
“You mean, your family thought they destroyed my father! I’ve heard of you
008 and your family. I’m the one that destroyed my father. He’s nothing but
a slug now! HaHaHaHa” His laugh was evil and sinister. He jumped and fired a
fireball at me. I rolled out of the way.
He fired another one and I focused on my Bubble Shield, but it only reflected
some of the hit. It was a lot stronger than the laser from the robot! The impact
made me fly back against the wall.
“DO NOT PLAY games with me fool!” Sloth teleported behind me and threw me in
the air. With one of his rare abilities, Sloth split into three bodies!
“Electric Cannon!” All three shot out a Electric laser at me! The cannon was
very powerful! I remembered a big explosion. I was hurt badly, and knew it was
going to be over....
