"How did I get here?" moaned Kyriisaac
"That's easy," said Mikar, "you see we were talking, then I got called up,
then you got called up, and then you went 'hubbada ubba duh duh duh uh habbita
heebita hubita aaaah' and then..."
"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!! I meant why did they pick me?"
"You heard him, Kyriisaac the Swift. You're apparently swift, so he chose you."
"I am?" asked Kyriisaac, "Are you sure?"
Mikar's face suddenly became very serious. "Rouge never gets anything wrong."
"All right you guys! These are our orders! First, we investigate the VirtuPets
Battle Shop. Then the secret laboratory, and from that, we discover
where their base is."
"I just know I'm not going to like this..." said Kyriisaac.
The VirtuPets space station was very busy at the moment, as always. The space
battle shop was unusually busy today. But somehow, the brown robed Techo managed
to get through the crowd and up to the counter before the customer at the counter
at the time could finish paying. Upon seeing the robed figure, the shopkeeper
said to the customer, "Excuse me for a moment," and walked over to the Techo.
"Okay, what do you want?" he whispered
"Where do you keep the slave collars?" The Techo asked.
"In the back of the shop behind the Rare Items Shelf."
The Techo walked swiftly to the back, and placed a small item on a ledge on
the wall, then vanished into the shadows.
"I don't care how busy it is!" yelled the large dark robed figure, "You let
us in, or you get hurt."
"That works for me," the shopkeeper said.
"All right men, spread out, I want this entire warehouse searched," the commander
called out to the Dark Kyrii.
Kyriisaac started looking really hard, under stuff, on top of stuff, he even
stood on tippy toes for the stuff that was too high up. But he couldn't find
anything. Then, he stumbled into the back of the warehouse, where he saw a little
Y-shaped stick on a ledge.
"Ooh, what's this? It's cool! I think I'll just put it in my pocket." And he
did. And the entire wall swung inward.
"Hey, the little guy found something!" yelled the commander.
To make a long story short, they looked. And they looked. And don't forget
they looked. Oh, and did I mention they looked? And then they found something.
A little slip of paper on a box of Slave Collars that said: 'Tyrannia'...

The Robed Techo looked at his map. "Hmm...This is the place." He looked around
for a moment, then found the vine, and hung an item from it, then vanished again.
"Hmmm...I don't see anything," the commander said. But Kyriisaac did.
"Ooh. A bottle thingy. Cool! I'll put it in my pocket with the stick." And
he did. And when he pulled the vine, the rock face slid open.
"Wow. You're on a roll little guy," said the Commander. "Come on, let's investigate."
As they walked into the tunnel, all of the younger Kyrii, including Kyriisaac
and Mikar, all stayed very close, scared stiff. As they continued, they thought
they heard heavy breathing.
"What's that sound?" Mikar whispered.
"I don't know," whispered Kyriisaac, "but it doesn't sound good."
It wasn't.
"RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled the Beast.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled the Kyrii.
Kyriisaac and Mikar ducked into a small cave on the side of the tunnel. The
other Dark Kyrii on the team weren't so lucky. At least they were gobbled up
quickly. The two young Kyrii wouldn't have that chance. Or would they? Find
out in part three of The Society of Dark Kyrii.
