The Other Half of Neopia

by sparky63428

OTHER SIDE OF NEOPIA - Many Neopians have ventured far into the jungles of Mystery island, deep down in the ruins of Maraqua, been with the natives of Krawk island, strolled through the Haunted Woods and braved Terror Mountain. The map of Neopia as we know today has almost completely been explored. However, there remains a large area of Neopia where few have dared to go: The other side.

Using pure logic and clues, we can guess at least four of the worlds that are on the other side of Neopia. I will go through them now, along with more that are from my imagination. I will also include what I think will feature in the world.

Darigan

Evidence: For all those who were around when Lord Darigan wrecked havoc upon Meridell, this should be obvious. In the plot, it said that Darigan’s men had searched the land far and wide for the orb. If Darigan isn’t properly on the map of Neopia now, then it must be on the other side! (That probably explains the evil looks on all Darigan people).
The land of Darigan (now Kass) is now floating above Meridell as a gloomy citadel. To further prove that Darigan was on the other side, below the citadel is a upside down pyramid shaped piece of land, which means there would be a hole in the ground where Darigan was before. Since the hole isn’t on this side of Neopia, it must be on the other. When the other is eventually explored, there will be a big hole somewhere.
Special Features: Go to the Citadel and see for yourself :)

Land of Jelly???

Many speak of a world full of jelly, and have photos, experiences and souvenirs to prove it, but does it really exist?
No! Of course not, silly! How is it possible that a world could be made of jelly? Also, it isn’t on the map of Neopia so it must be an made-up world. However, many claim to have visited this strange world, and indeed, they tell of buildings made of jelly, and even a giant jelly whose sizes matches that of the giant omelette! This, due to obvious reasons, is absolute rubbish! How can such a world exist? Unless, of course, it is in a distant corner of Neopia (which is probably on the other side), or managed to find a portal to the world.
Special Features: Jelly buildings, giant jelly, jelly foods, green jelly (what lies!)

Futuristic

This may sound a bit far-fetched, but before Meridell was discovered, there was talk of a futuristic world. No-one has found it yet, so it must be somewhere on the other side of Neopia, if it even exists. A futuristic world would be very different to all the lands we know, and it is baffling to us Neopians how on earth there could be a futuristic world. Don’t let that drop our hopes for a futuristic world though, anything can happen in Neopia!
Special Features: Futuristic buildings and items, robots (is that where our robot pets are coming from?), evil scientists.

Neopia’s Moon

Not exactly on the other side of Neopia, but still a new world.
Some have been speculating that Neopia’s moon (called Kreludor) is going to be explored soon, and that a war will be there. This is just from what I have heard, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Of course, there is some evidence that the moon will be explored. In the Haunted woods, there is always a moon. There are also too many moon related items in Neopia, supporting the fact that there is a moon.
Special Features: "Some say it's where Grundos came from, and some say its populated be evil, giant robots. Who knows! One thing I would mention however is that if you look at the moon through a very VERY good telescope, on some nights you may be able to see strange bright lights moving over the moon's surface." - Description from Neopets.

The following new world ideas are from my pure imagination (and a little logic)...

Forest

There may be a forest world, perhaps it will be discovered with the release of the next Neopet probably this week (which is possibly going to be bear-like). A forest would be more of an ‘earth’ world, where Illusen may move to.
Special Features: Elves, a lot of trees (!!), perhaps a giant tree to match the Brain Tree!

Volcano

Now, this dives into the history of Neopia. Tyrannia was once divided into three: The two that exist now, and a volcano part. The volcano part was taken out for some reason. Perhaps it will be brought back in the future.
Special Features: Magmar the Torches Cave, Constant Eruptions.

The following ideas are just pure fun and... silly (or are they?)

Dung

The wide range of dung products and the wide circulation of these products may originate from a dung world not yet discovered. Again, this idea is totally stupid, but who knows! There could be a factory that specialises in creating things in making dung objects, which would be on the other side of Neopia. Perhaps it is next to the Haunted Woods, which is known for its Gross Foods.
Special Features: Buildings made from dung, dung food shop, dung furniture shop, flies, tower of dung.

Asparagus

There is only one person who could come up with such a bizarre idea - none other than Number 6 (a.k.a. Adam). The future discovery of this world is highly unlikely, but anything is possible in Neopia!
Special Features: Adam’s home, Borovan Shop, Borovan everything!

There we go! My ideas of what could be discovered on the other side of Neopia. When it is finally explored, let’s see how many of these are true...
