Artemisluv woke up on her purple bed. Lunaangel, the Angelpuss,
was already awake and gone from the room. Artemisluv stretched and yawned. She
looked around her white marble bedroom. It was so lovely. She hopped down from
the bed. The marble floor was cool on her paws as she walked over to her dresser.
The desert Aisha removed her night-gown and put on her white Lost Desert style
dress. She then looked in the mirror and saw the painted gold crescent moon was
still on her forehead.
"Lady Artemisluv, are you awake?" asked a voice
outside the door.
"Yes, come in," Artemisluv told the voice.
The door then opened and a Christmas Zafara
entered the room. It was one of the Moon Goddess Guardians. She was dressed
in her white leather uniform that looked somewhat like Koya the Korbat Huntress
and Apolloluv’s. She also had a bow and quiver of forest arrows on her back
and a Rugged Zafara Short Sword on her side. She had a gold crescent moon on
her right wing. The Zafara’s name was Zerendipity_.
"What is it, Zerendipity?" asked Artemisluv
who sounded so regal .
"Morry says a ship is approaching." With that
said, Artemisluv ran out of the room. Zerendipity ran after her. Once they left
the room, the Halloween Lupe that was watching the door followed.
The Halloween Lupe wore a pair of tattered jeans
and a tattered black biker jacket. His clothes never appeared to fit, they were
always way too small. The Lupe had a Iron Lupe Sword on his back. He also had
a gold crescent moon on his left palm. Chaney_Talbot was another Moon Goddess
Guardian.
The three ran until they were in the room of
Mordecia_. Mordecia’s room was full of books and a lot of equipment from the
Space Station. Mordecia was dressed in Light Footed Lenny Boots and had a Dazzling
Steel Lenny Sword on his back. He had a gold crescent moon on his beak. He was
also one of the Moon Goddess Guardians. Lunaangel was sitting on his shoulder.
Next to Morry was the last of the Moon Goddess Guardians.
_A_J_Rimmer_ the brown Grundo. Rimmer was dressed in the Moon Goddess Guardians
uniform(the others never wore their’s). The uniform was a white shirt with a gold
crescent moon on the upper left arm, a brown tie with a gold crescent moon on
the bottom, khaki pants and black combat boots. His gold crescent moon is on his
belly. Rimmer had the misfortune of drinking the Rainbow Swirly Potion. It made
him not able to touch or be touched. Rimmer has decided that he is a "holopet"
a term he made up. Rimmer even wears a white H on his forehead. His petpet diddler,
Holly, is his hands and does everything for him.
"Is it him?" asked Artemisluv.
Morry looked at her sadly. "No I’m afraid it
isn’t Clyde, your Highness. It’s someone much worse. All data points to Dr.
Sloth. The ship is Dr. Sloth’s personal ship." Morry hated giving her bad news.
Artemisluv frowned. Ever since she had become
Goddess of the Neopian Moon and moved to Krulador she hadn’t seen Clyde. She
also hadn’t seen any of her room mates, Spike, Methos5 or EW. She missed living
in Neopia Central. Artemisluv knew that this was the sacrifice for getting her
dream.
"My Lady, what do we do?" asked Zerendipity.
"We have to use Moon Goddess Directive 5513,"
Rimmer told them.
"5513? Are you sure, Rimmer? That is the directive
that says all Guardians should wear Aisha scarves in winter," Morry told him.
Rimmer frowned.
"No, birdbrain, I meant 5514."
"Yes, that’s the directive that says no matter
what the Guardians fight to protect the palace and Moon. It’s funny that it’s
not directive one." Morry nodded. Rimmer smiled, which he didn’t do often.
"I agree, we have to stop Sloth. He can not
take over Krulador," Artemisluv ordered. She then went back to her room. Chaney
followed as it was his duty to be her bodyguard at all times.
Artemisluv walked over to her window. She looked
out from her marble palace at the moon. It was so lovely. The moon’s surface
seemed to glow a beautiful golden color. Artemisluv sighed and put her head
on her paws. How she longed to watch the pink Lenny with her fellow Aisha Methos5.
"Do you regret becoming Goddess?" asked Chaney.
She was surprised by him.
"No, Chaney. This was my dream and I love it.
It’s just that I miss some things. I wonder how Immortalmina and the others
are doing?"
"I’m sure they are fine. I bet they miss you,
though," he told Artemisluv as he walked up to her.
"And what of Clyde? I never did learn his true
identity. I thought he would come to see me by now."
Chaney paused and thought a moment. "Well your
Highness, maybe he can’t get a ship. Dr. Sloth has a lot of security on the
Station," he finally told her.
Artemisluv didn’t like that answer. "Clyde the
Aisha Thief can steal anything! So, this means he never really cared for me."
Artemisluv began to cry. Chaney took the little Aisha and hugged her. Artemisluv
was so small compared to the huge WereLupe. She almost disappeared into his
arms.
A voice came from a intercom. Artemsiluv’s Moon
Palace had intercoms bought from the Space Station. The voice said, "All solders
prepare to fight! Dr. Sloth’s ship is landing!" The voice was that of Morry.
Chaney pulled away from the Aisha. "Come, my
Lady, it is time." Artemisluv and Chaney left her room and headed for the docking
bay.
Artemisluv’s paws soon had a Wand of The Moon
in them. She was prepared to fight for her home. She stood in front of the Moon
Goddess Guardians and the other solders. All had their weapons ready. All but
Rimmer. He was no where to be found. She watched as the door of the ship opened.
From inside the pets could see a shadow. It
seemed to be a shadow of an Aisha, not Sloth. The shadow came into the light.
The Aisha had on a brown Fedora hat and a tan trench coat. He was a spotted
Aisha.
Artemisluv ran to him. "Clyde!" she screamed!
"Who did you think it was, Dr. Sloth?" he asked.
Artemisluv hugged him. He was happy that she missed him.
"Yes, that’s what we thought! Everyone stand
down and go about your business. False alarm," Zerendipity told them. All the
solders except the Guardians followed her orders.
After Zerendipity said this Rimmer appeared
from behind a bunch of boxes. "Nothing to worry about."
"Not for you, anyway," Chaney said under his
breath.
Clyde chuckled. "If I was going to steal a ship
it had to be the best. Dr. Sloth’s was the best."
"Let’s go to my room," Artemisluv said as she
pulled Clyde’s paw. Chaney followed them. Zerendipity, Rimmer and Morry went
back to their duties.
"Wow, your palace is beautiful. Just like you,"
Clyde told Artemisluv. She blushed. The two Aishas went into the room and left
Chaney to guard the door.
"So how do you like it up here?" asked Clyde.
"It’s wonderful," she answered quickly. "How
are the boys and your owner Immortalmina?" she asked him.
Clyde smiled. "They are fine. They all miss
you, even Spike. That’s what I heard, anyway."
"I miss them too. I love it here, but sometimes
I long for my old life on Neopia," Artemisluv sighed.
Clyde and Artemisluv looked at each other. Just
then Morry’s voice from the intercom said, "We are under attack! Dr. Sloth and
his Mutant Grundo army are here! Protect the palace and most importantly the
Goddess!"
Chaney ran into the room. He has his sword in
his hand and ready. "We must get you out of here my Lady."
"Take her!" Clyde shouted and took out his whip.
"What about you?" Artemisluv asked.
"I will protect the palace. Dr. Sloth is here
because I stole his ship. This is my fault. I will make it right."
"But I don’t want you to get hurt!" Artemisluv
began to cry.
Clyde walked over to her. "Don’t worry I’ll
be fine. Go with Chaney." Artemisluv closed her eyes as she was pulled into
his arms.
Just then Artemsiluv could hear something, "ARTEMISLUV!"
She opened her eyes to see Lunaangel starring down at her.
"Immortalmina is calling you," Lunaangel said.
Artemisluv grumbled and jumped from her bed. She quickly changed into her Lost
Desert style dress and repainted her gold crescent moon onto her forehead.
Once she was down the stairs she asked Immortalmina,
"What was so important? I was having the most wonderful dream."
"Well, there are pets here to see you," Immortalmina
said and then moved out of the way. When she did the Aisha could see they were
the four pets that were in her dream. It was Chaney_Talbot, Mordecia_, Zerendipity_
and _A_J_Rimmer_.
"We are your guardians sworn to protect you,"
the Halloween Lupe said. Just then yellow light appeared on Artemisluv’s forehead.
It glowed for only a second and then went away.
"Wow," was all she could say. Maybe it wasn’t
just a dream, she thought.
