Spin, Spin, Stick and Spin Again

by sailor_Venus_86

As I often do, I walk around Neopia looking for something to do with my pets. Often, we like to go and play some games that can make us some pretty big money. Here are a few of them!

The Wheel of Excitement

This is a fun game which costs 100 NP to play. You take your pet to Faerieland and spin, spin, spin the Wheel of Excitement! However, you can only spin once every 60 minutes. There are several good and bad things from the wheel, which are described below.

First, you can win 100-10,000 NP, a rare item, increased level in ability (if your pet has one), healing potions, a Light Faerie healing or magical items. Most of these are good things. However, you can get zapped, sick, burnt, an item can get stolen, the Dark Faerie could laugh but nothing happens, or the mystery prize which is always less than 100 NP. Once my sister only got 3 NP from the wheel when she spun it for 100 NP!

I find that the wheel has advantages and disadvantages, but it's worth it overall. I have won the great 10,000 NP prize before, and hope to win it again! Spin, spin, spin!

Wheel of Mediocrity

This is a lot like the Wheel of Excitement, but it costs less, and you don't win as much. It costs 50 NP per spin, and you can spin it every 40 minutes or so. Like the Wheel of Excitement, it has some good and bad things.

You can win 50-1,000 NP, Tyrannian food, furniture or PetPets, or the earth Faerie which blesses earth abilities. However, you can also only win 10 or 20 NP, get burned, bitten, or a Grarrl will show up and roar, but do nothing, wasting your money.

I find that this wheel is what it is: mediocre. However, if you aren't willing to risk the Wheel of Excitement, this may be a good substitute.

Tiki Tack Tombola

This is a great game. You have your pet stick its paw into a bowl of tickets, and if they pull out a ticket that ends in 0, 2 or 5, they win! You can play this once per day for free.

You can win NP, Faeries, Codestones (Hey, I've got your attention, don't I?!), food and more! However, if you don't win, you still get a booby prize, which is mostly some island merchandise or food which is very cheap on the shop wizard. If you can find some of this food at 1 NP per can, jar, etc. It's more cost effective than omelettes, unless you get your omelette every day for free! Sometimes, the Tiki Tack guy will feel sorry for you and give you about 500 NP or so.

Tombola is free, fun, and you always win SOMETHING! Go for it!

The NeoPets Fruit Machine

This, like Tombola, is also free, and you can play it once per day. You try to win by spinning the wheel. This looks kind of like a slot machine, but it's not really, so don't worry about your pets wasting all your hard earned NP! The machine has some great prizes!

You can win up to 1,000 NP (or more, but I've only won 1,000!) and Desert Fruit. My pets all love the desert fruit, so I try to win some for them. However, there is a slim chance of winning, so it's not as much fun when you see "Sorry, this is not a winning spin" almost every day.

This game is a really good game to play if you have patience for winning. It's not as good as the Tombola, but it's better than losing NP! Give it a shot!

Finally, my pets and I are so tired from trying to win NP that we are now gonna head over to the Healing Springs to get some energy to go and play some other games, go explore or whatever! If you have any questions, please feel free to Neomail me!

This is sailor_Venus_86, signing off!
