Artemisluv sat on the floor of her NeoHome waiting for
her owner Immortalmina to come home. When Immortalmina had left that morning,
she said something about bringing the little desert Aisha home a present. Artemisluv
hated waiting. She smiled an impatient smile at her petpet Angelpuss Lunaangel
and petted her. Lunaangel knew Artemisluv couldn’t wait any longer.
When Immortalmina walked through the door all
of her pets came to greet her. First of course was Artemisluv, next the pirate
Aisha Methos5, then the spotted Aisha Emerald__Weapon, and lastly the mutant
Korbat Spike_aka_bigbad. Immortalmina hugged them all. Once she was done smothering
them, all except Artemisluv went back to whatever they were doing.
Immortalmina looked down at the little desert
Aisha and said, "Do you still want to be the Goddess of the Neopian Moon?"
Artemisluv smiled and said, "Yes!" Artemisluv’s
one goal in life is to become the Goddess of the Neopian Moon. She wanted to
live up to her name. Artemisluv and Immortalmina had no idea how to get the
goal, but neither seemed to care. They also didn’t know if there was such a
thing, but again they didn’t care.
Immortalmina pulled out a purple ticket and
gave it to Artemisluv. "It seems Fyora is giving out Queen Lessons. It wasn’t
cheap, but I wanted you to go! I thought that learning to be a queen would help
you on your way."
Artemisluv let out a squeal of excitement. She
hugged her owner and then danced around the room. All of the boys came to see
what was going on. Immortalmina told them what was happening. Emerald__Weapon
was happy to see Artemisluv so happy. Methos5 was also happy for her.
Immortalmina turned to see Spike. He was standing
in the corner with his Tyrannian Doglefox, OZ. She noticed a white stick coming
out of his mouth. It looked like something he shouldn’t have. Spike saw Immortalmina
looking at him. "Don’t worry love." Spike's English accent sounded garbled by
what was in his mouth. He then pulled it out to show a poisonous lollipop. "It’s
only a lolly." With that said, he put it back in his mouth and walked off. OZ
laughed the whole way. Spike had not been the same since he scarred his left
eyebrow and became a mutant.
The lessons started that day in Faerieland.
Methos5 went with Artemisluv. They both walked silently. Lunaangel had come
along and was floating next to them. Methos5's petpet Puppyblew, Joeblues, was
also happily running beside them. As they walked, they saw Spike flying toward
the Haunted Woods. On his back was OZ. Spike still had the lollipop in his mouth.

Right after they headed out, Emerald__Weapon also left. He put on his Fedora
hat and tan trench coat. He was now his true name, Clyde the Aisha thief. Clyde
knew that these "Queen Lessons" were his prefect opportunity. He told his petpet,
a brown Snowbunny, to stay. Bonnie knew what to do if anyone wondered where
Emerald__Weapon was. It was her job after all.

As they walked along, Artemisluv could hear Methos5 humming a song. She didn’t
know the song’s name, but she was sure it was the Blues. Joeblues started to
hum as well. Artemisluv wished she could join in. After a little while they
stopped. Artemisluv would have asked what the song was, but decided not to.
If Methos5 and Joeblues couldn’t be found at the Golden Doubloon, then they
were most likely listening to the Blues.
Once they got close to Krawk Island Methos5
departed. "Good luck!" Methos5 said with his English accent. Joeblues and Methos5
then headed for the Golden Doubloon and their two favorite pets Loretta and
Rosetta Fontaine.
Artemisluv and Lunaangel made it to the Faerie
City. It was beautiful and so wonderful. Artemisluv watched as faeries and pets
bought things and played games. The city was full of people that day. Soon Artemisluv
arrived at Fyora’s Castel.
Two Lupe guards stopped the little Aisha. "Are
you here for the Queen Lessons? If so please show us your ticket."
Artemisluv was a little frightened by the Lupes
but did as asked. They nodded and were just about to let her in when the other
one said, "Sorry no petpets allowed inside. She can wait out here." He pointed
to a bunch of other petpets. Lunaangel frowned but flew to the other petpets.
Artemisluv went inside and was escorted to the
right tower by an Air Faerie. The Air Faerie smiled at Artemisluv once they
were at the right door. "Go on inside. They are all waiting for you." The Air
Faerie spoke softly.

Meanwhile, Clyde had made it to the Hidden Tower. He knew that with the Faerie
Queen busy he might be able to steal something from there. Clyde was always
looking for a new challenge in thievery. He already had stolen the Emerald Weapon,
the reason Clyde is named Emerald__Weapon, from the Pant Devil. "This will show
those stupid Aisha Thieves!" he chuckled to himself. He didn’t like them after
the fiasco with the Emerald Weapon. They wouldn’t let him back in the pack..

Artemisluv went into the room and saw lots of different pets. Most were famous.
She saw Princess Fernypoo and Kauvara, to name a few. She also saw her idol,
Lady Osiris. Artemisluv wanted to look just like Lady Osiris. Then she spotted
in the front of the room none other than the Faerie Queen herself, Fyora. Artemisluv
was in awe at what she saw.
"Come everyone and sit down. It is time to get
started." There was a wonderful melody when the queen spoke. Everyone did as
told.
After everyone was sitting down, a Fire Faerie
took role call. All of the pets had made it. Then Lady Osiris took the floor.
"All right, I have provided a variety of queenly dresses for you all to pick
from." An Earth Faerie put the dresses out. Each pet went to the dresses and
picked the one that was her style. Artemisluv picked one that looked just like
Lady Osiris.

Clyde put on his black outfit and headed for the shop at the top of the Hidden
Tower. He now had to be hidden like the tower itself. Clyde wondered how the
lessons were going. He did love Artemisluv very much and hoped she was doing
well. Clyde as Emerald__Weapon was always too shy to talk to Artemisluv. Her
beauty was just to intimidating.

The pets were now learning how to eat at the table. Every pet ate their soup
correctly. Well, all except Artemisluv. She slurped it up. Every pet turned
to look at her. Princess Fernypoo whispered to a pet next to her, "How did she
get in?" Artemisluv finally noticed and stopped. Her face turned from brown
to bright red. She should be a natural at this.
The next lesson was how to speak properly. Every
pet did this correctly, too. Well, all except Artemisluv. "Can I go to the bathroom?"
she asked. Everyone shook their heads. Artemisluv couldn’t understand why she
did everything wrong. She held back a few tears.
"No, it is: May I use the restroom, please?"
the queen explained. Artemisluv shook her tears away and then repeated the phrase
correctly. Artemisluv beamed at herself. She knew that she would get the hang
of this.

Clyde got out all of his thief’s gadgets once he was at the top of the stairs.
He used them to get into the room. Clyde wanted to steal a Faerie Queen Doll.
It would be very ironic and arrogant to steal a doll who looked like the owner.
Besides, it was very expensive.
* * *
The next thing to learn was how to curtsy. All of the pets followed the Queen’s
lead. All did it right, except Artemisluv. She tried and fell into Kauvara.
In turn, Kauvara ran into a Korbat. Each fell until they were all knocking each
other to the ground. It was like dominoes. "Umm... sorry," Artemisluv said as
she rose to her feet. The other pets grumbled as they pulled themselves off
the ground.
"I can’t believe she’s trying to be a queen.
Queens need to have grace and not be a klutz," Kauvara angrily mumbled as she
got up. The Korbat snickered at that. Artemisluv just ignored them because she
knew she was going to be a goddess, being a queen wasn’t the same. All of her
friends and her owner believed in her. That was enough for the little Aisha.
Finally, they learned how to walk into a room.
Fyora demonstrated and told the others to copy her. They went in a row and every
pet did it correctly. Once they got to Artemisluv she tried her hardest, but
tripped on her dress and fell onto her face. She sat up and said, "I guess being
a queen really isn’t for me." Then Artemisluv ran out of the room with tears
in her eyes.

Clyde was in the room ready to get his hands on a doll when he saw a Faerie.
It was Jhudora the Dark Faerie. Why was she there? Was she taking the place
of the queen? No, they hated each other. "Darn. Maybe I should give this up.
Jhudora, won’t be as forgiving as the Queen," Clyde stammered to himself. The
Dark Faerie was feared all around Neopia. Even Clyde knew to be afraid of her.
"I didn’t come all this way to be scared now.
Oh well, I’ve been caught before!" Clyde whispered. He then grabbed a doll and
replaced it with a note saying the doll was taken by Clyde the Aisha thief.
Just as he began to run Jhudora saw him. "Stop right there!" she yelled. So,
she was the shopkeeper while the queen was gone. Clyde didn’t stop to think
about it.

The queen walked over to the little Aisha. "Don’t worry about it. Being a
queen comes from the inside. You have the heart of a queen whether or not you
have the graces of a one," the queen laughed. Artemisluv had to laugh, too.
At that moment, a guard rushed into the room.
"Fyora, someone tried to steal from the Hidden Tower!"
"Well, I guess the lessons are over for today.
You all did very well, come back tomorrow for Lesson number two." Then the queen
went with the guard.
Artemisluv slowly walked down the stairs. She
had a feeling of great happiness. She was in such a happy state that she wasn't
looking where she was going and once again tripped on her dress. But this time
she didn’t fall. Artemisluv was caught by an Aisha.
"You should be more careful," said a loving
voice. Artemisluv looked up and she couldn’t see his face. It was covered by
a Fedora hat and the collar of his tan trench coat. The Aisha helped Artemisluv
back up.
Artemisluv smiled and said, "Thanks. What’s
your name?"
Artemisluv moved her neck so she could see the
Aisha’s face. All she could see way a wide smile. "Sorry, got to go," the Aisha
said as two guards came flying down the stairs. Artemisluv could now see the
Aisha was holding a Faerie Queen Doll.
"It’s Clyde the Aisha Thief!" the guards yelled
after him. Artemisluv moved out of the way before the guards ran into her. She
then watched as Clyde and the guards ran down the stairs.
Once Artemisluv was home, she told them all
about the day’s events still wearing the queen dress. Then she told them about
Clyde. Emerald__Weapon listened and knew she had developed a crush on him. He
left the room in a hurry. Artemisluv didn’t even notice.
"Now that you are taking these lessons and you
are in that dress, I know you will get your goal one day. You just need one
thing," Immortalmina told Artemisluv. Immortalmina painted a small gold crescent
moon onto Artemisluv’s forehead. Artemisluv ran to a mirror and looked at herself.
She loved what she saw.

Emerald__Weapon went into his room and got out the doll. Clyde kept all of
his "treasures" in a cabinet on the wall. The doll was sitting next to the Emerald
Weapon. He sighed, after all that work he was going to give up the doll. "She
deserves it," he said under his breath.
Emerald__Weapon slipped out of his room with
the doll. He had put a note on it. Emerald__Weapon then left it inside Artemisluv’s
room. He ran into a shadow in the hall just as Artemisluv turned the corner.
Artemisluv and Lunaangel went into their room
and found the doll sitting on the bed. "There’s a note," Artemisluv said as
she held up the doll. She read the note aloud, "Dearest Artemisluv, You are
the only Goddess of the Neopian Moon. Take care and do well with your lessons.
Love, Clyde the Aisha Thief." Artemisluv swooned all over the note. After what
The Faerie Queen, Immortalmina and Clyde said, she knew she would have her dream.
"How does he know that?" questioned Lunaangel.
It was too late Artemisluv had fallen asleep with her arms around the Faerie
Queen doll. Artemisluv dreamed dreams of an unknown Aisha.
Emerald__Weapon peaked into her room and smiled.
He didn’t know how he would tell her he was Clyde. Oh well, that’s another
day, he thought.
