Everyone was all excited about the obelisks a few weeks ago and I’m very disappointed
that they are not, because there has to be some reason for me to throw paranoid
conspiracy theories at the whole of Neopia, and I’ve finally found one. To my
great excitement, it also has something to do with my triangular friends, the
obelisks!
I have been off the site for a few days since school has just started, and
I came back to find Maraqua gone. This baffles me, because frankly, Maraqua
rocked.
Maraqua had PetPets that had to be kept in glass jars, a chef cooking constantly
for a royal family who no one had ever seen, and a cool looking game. Maraqua
even had a shop for utility fish, which you can’t eat and can’t do anything
with!
Then it goes off and jumps into a whirlpool on the spur of the moment while
I am trying to find my third period Spanish class. Of course, it did have some
help from the pirate guy, but that whirlpool really left a mess behind.
And, of course, the pirate would disappear on me before I got a chance to interview
him. The guys playing Armada are too involved with moving little ships around
to talk to me, either.
Now I go over to Tyrannia to get some omelette and maybe a Bronto Bite or two,
and lo and behold, one of my triangular friends has disappeared. That’s right,
the Obelisk of Strength has up and left on me.
I never knew that inanimate stone objects could just walk off, but it appears
that this one did. Last week, there was a big stone pillar with a silly little
Chia happily pounding away at Trading Card Game rules with a hammer and chisel.
Now, the obelisk is gone and I think that the Chia might have gotten lost in
the frenzy. I feel kind of sorry for the little guy. Maybe he picked up the
huge stone and left.
This means the Triangle of Destiny doesn’t even have one side any more. It’s
just a corner! This does not inspire awe or confidence. If there is just one
point of the Triangle, then maybe the Triangle of Destiny isn’t a problem. Or
maybe the Obelisks are in places that we never expected. Who knows, I sure don’t.
But where’s the little Chia?
And what happened to room Q217 and my third period Spanish class? |
