The Aisha Brothers and the Ultimate Riches Bank Account

     That afternoon, Kawi had a handful of questions to ask Shawna, his owner.

     "Shawna, how much money do you have?"

     Kawi's brother, Kiwi the green Aisha, poked him hard in the side. "That's none of your business!" he hissed.

     Shawna gasped and broke down sobbing, running down the hallway into the bathroom.

     "Why'd you have to say that?" said Kiwi afterwards. "Money is a very personal thing to talk about. Think before you speak next time, Kawi."

     "Sorry," said Kawi in an annoyed tone. He decided not to tell his brother about the longings of an Ultimate Riches! bank account.

     The next morning, Kawi dashed out of the house with some spare change in hand. He was going to play some poker! He deposited 3 Neopoints at the Poker Room. It was the beginning of the game. His opponent dealt the cards. When Kawi looked at his hand, his face fell. It was not a Royal Flush, as he had hoped for. In fact, there was not a pair in sight. It was a very bad hand. As he exposed his hand, his opponent said in a mocking tone, "You lose! I had a full house!"

     After a series of games, Kawi decided that gambling was not the way to go. With the little bit of Neopoints he had left, Kawi began investing in the stock market. "Buy, sell, buy, sell," said Nigel the Chia. Kawi considered carefully when he chose his investments. After half an hour, he resolved in buying tickers KBAT, NEGG, BOOM, and TCAG, total of 2,568 Neopoints. They were going up in price.

     Over the next week, Kawi cringed terribly. The prices of the stocks went down more than halfway. He guessed it wouldn't be worth keeping the stocks so he sold them all, adding up to a sum of 676 Neopoints. Ouch.

     Kawi decided to stick to playing games that wouldn't cost him. Yes, that's a good idea, he thought. How brilliant am I? Then his moneymaking life changed for the better. By playing games like Advert Attack, Ultimate Bullseye, Whack a Staff Member, and Extreme Potato Counter, he had earned hundreds of thousands of Neopoints in a few days. He brought them over to the bank, watching his family's bank account go from Triple Platinum from Diamond Deposit to Diamond Deposit plus. Millionaire Mega Platinum would be next, he thought.

     Over the next week, Kawi discovered how improved his motor skills became. His little hands became nimble as Jack from the nursery rhyme. Because of this, his scores swept the high score tables. His trophy cabinet began to fill rapidly. His mailbox was stuffed full of fan letters. His family shop actually started to profit off Neopians' donations.

     Kawi's life felt like a dream. Is this really for real?

     The next day, Kawi took his chance at the Scratch Card Game. He got an Icetravaganza scratch card. Wow, he thought. This HAS to be my lucky day! He carefully scratched off the first square. It was a blank. He scratched off another square. It was the Jackpot sign! The third square was scratched off. Another jackpot sign! He scratched off the fourth square. A blank. The fifth square was another blank. Kawi's heart pounded. The Jackpot was 4 million Neopoints!!! He tightly shut his eyes and scratched off the last square. He took a teeny weeny glimpse at the square and saw a jackpot sign. The prize was his!! He shouted a big whoop and jumped high in the air.

     He gratefully thanked the Kiosk Wocky as he took the heavy bag of Neopoints. He ran all the way to the bank, careful not to drop any Neopoints. But then a terrible thing happened. It was unspeakable, unthinkable, and utterly unlucky. Kawi had tripped and spilt the bag of Neopoints. They scattered all over the ground. Neopians from all around saw this and charged at the money and grabbed it for themselves. They were quick, too. Before Kawi had a chance to take even 1,000 NP for himself, all of it had disappeared. Not even 10 NP was in sight. Kawi's eyes brimmed with tears. All his prize money, gone, all 4 million Neopoints.

     Kawi sadly walked over to the Game Room, doubting he'd get any more Neopoints for that dreamy Ultimate Riches bank account. His heart raged. That won't happen! he thought angrily. He was mad! He ran over to the games and played his hardest. He concentrated so hard that he didn't even keep track of how many Neopoints he had earned. Beads of sweat formed on his fur. The area around him became extremely hot and tense as he played. He dashed from one game to another, another profit more.

     Kawi panted as he marched to the bank. He deposited his heavy bag of Neopoints into his bank account and fainted from dehydration. An impressed face came across the banker Skeith. "Congratulations, little Aisha," he said. "You are now eligible to have an Ultimate Riches! bank account."
