The Wheel of Excitement vs. The Wheel of Mediocrity

by light_angel_1

Does the Wheel of Mediocrity stand a chance against the wonderful Wheel of Excitement?

It's all on how good the wheel looks, or does it? In Faerieland, you see this vibrantly, variously coloured wheel on a fluffy cloud with pretty faeries to ask you to step up and take a spin! On the other hand, there's Plesio, who stares blankly into space bored as a carrot stuck in the ground. His wheel in Tyrannia is just plain old brown, boring and looks rugged, as if it could break any moment. Maybe that's why he's not so enthusiastic working there....

Here are some differences about the wheel that go beyond just appearances and will assist you in deciding which wheel suits you:

You can play on the Wheel of Mediocrity once every 40 minutes while you can only play on the Wheel of Excitement once every 2 hours!

The Wheel of Mediocrity costs 50 NP spin while the Wheel of Mediocrity costs 100 NP a go.

You can win up to 1,000 NP from the Wheel of Mediocrity. As for the Wheel of Excitement, you could win up to a fabulous 10,000 NP!

There are 2 faeries you may land on from the Wheel of Excitement. The Light Faerie can increase one of you pet's abilities, which is so kind of her! On the other hand, you can get the ability decreased by the Dark Faerie. Or if she's feeling nice, she may spare you from that and do nothing. There's is only 1 faerie you can encounter in the Wheel of Mediocrity, and that's the Earth Faerie. She's an OK gal!

You can win knick-knacks like Tyrannian furniture, Tyrannian PetPets like pet rocks and Tyrannian food from the Wheel of Mediocrity. You can win amazing magical prizes from the Wheel of Excitement such as rarer PetPets, weapons like Wand of Novas, and Neopets Collector Cards. What you get from this wheel are more valuable and have a better appearance!

You can get bitten by pterodactyls and Grarrls and encounter the scary Bones the Aisha from the Wheel of Mediocrity. Or, you can get zapped by lightning or get an item stolen by the Pant Devil from the Wheel of Excitement. But you can go spin that wheel again and get you pet healed if you happen to land on the Heal spot or go to the Healing Springs, which is so close and convenient for you! The Wheel of Mediocrity doesn't have that kind of aid.

If you happen to land on a nasty spot on the Wheel of Mediocrity, you can get singed by lava as opposed to the lava ghoul breathing fire at your pets from the Wheel of Excitement. Either way, you get burned!

So if you are stingy, by all means go to the Wheel of Mediocrity. You wouldn't win anything that fabulous though, and have a better chance of losing than earning more. If you are daring enough to pay a little more and wish to have a chance of earning more exquisite prizes, the Wheel of Excitement is just the wheel for you! You may have to wait longer to play it, but it's worth it. As they say: good things come to those who wait. Plus, watching the different colours spinning round and round on the Wheel of Excitement is so amusing! And which would you prefer: lovely faeries who spin the Wheel of Excitement, or a bored to death expression on Plesio's face (warning: expression on his face may sink your spirits) who spins the Wheel of Mediocrity...

Happiness is being me...

So does the Wheel of Mediocrity stand a chance against the wonderful wheel of Faerieland? My answer is no way!
