Uggh! What is that big, ugly lump on your pet's forehead? Wait! There's one
on his arm too! And his chin! And his foot! Ahhhhhhh! What's an owner to do?
Fellow NeoPet members, I am sorry to inform you that an outbreak of the NeoWarts
has arrived in Neopia.
Help! How did my pet get this disease?
Spin the Wheel of Excitement often? Remember the last couple times you span?
Did the wheel happen to land on the dreaded skull? That's the most likely way
your pet got the disease. Getting the skull on The Wheel of Excitement means
your pet will come down with the "disease of the season." This season, the disease
happens to be NeoWarts following Bloaty Belly and D'achoo.
The only other way your pet could have gotten the disease is from some other
pet. This disease it highly contagious. Any pet who comes within a yard of a
pet with NeoWarts is at great risk.
Fine, I know how I got it. How do I get rid of it?
If you check the hospital, you'll see that the cure for NeoWarts is the NeoWart
Fungus. There are two places where you can find the cure: The Pharmacy and the
Marketplace.
I would definitely recommend The Pharmacy... if you can get there in time.
The Pharmacy is selling NeoWart Fungus for approximately 35 Neopoints. The Marketplace
is selling the cure for 1500+ Neopoints and rising. Which price would you rather
have? The Pharmacy of course! Then again, so would every other owner whose pet
has NeoWarts, so the cure sells out extremely quickly. Try finding out the times
that all the stores in the Main Shops restock, and at that time, see if you
can get the NeoWart Fungus. If you do get a chance to buy it, DON'T HAGGLE!
It's already cheap and someone will buy out the cure before you do.
But, I can't bare to wait and see my pet look that sick? Are you sure there's
no other alternatives?
Well, you could always go to the Marketplace, but go immediately! It's almost
certain that the price for NeoWart Fungus will rise, because it's going to be
more and more in demand as more and more pets get NeoWarts.
There is another alternative, which is giving your pet another disease with
a cheaper cure. You can do this by buying a poisonous mushroom (approximately
350 Neopoints) which will give your pet Neopox and buying the cure, Neopox Pizza
(approximately 35 Neopoints).
Wait a minute! The poisonous mushroom didn't give my pet Neopox! And I can't
afford the cure!
Ah ha! The poisonous mushroom didn't work on my pet either, so I would up paying
the ridiculous price for NeoWart Fungus.
While your pet has the NeoWarts, keep it isolated from all other pets. That
includes siblings and schoolmates (At least your pet will be happy that he/she
doesn't have to go to school!). As I mentioned earlier, the disease is highly
contagious. Make sure it gets plenty of rest, and give it as much water (Two
Bottles of Water, Bottle of Water) as you can. You can consider getting it a
toy to perk up it's spirits, but wash it often to prevent to many germs from
building up on it. Take it to the Healing Springs in Faerieland! It's a place
of rest and relaxation, and you never know. Your pet might be healed for free!
Meanwhile, keep checking The Pharmacy and the Marketplace. Their might be some
kind soul selling the cure for a cheap price. And remember to keep saving, saving,
saving up for the cure. And if you don't want to spend all of your Neopoints
on the cure, follow the steps above, and wait for a new "disease of the season."
The price of the NeoWart Fungus will plummet.
Good luck and best wishes to your pet! |
