As a military leader of great courage and skill, Sabre-X has played a vital role in defending Tyrannia from any potential hostile neighbours. Due to their prehistoric weapons and small fighting force, a keen understanding of strategy is essential to Tyrannia's future as an independant state. Consisting of little more than a part-time voluntary militia, the tactics used by the Tyrannian army in defending their homeland are quite similar to the principles of traditional guerrilla warfare: small squads, consisting of six to eight members, set up camps in the Tyrannian Jungle, where their great knowledge of the wilderness allows them to entrap and defeat invaders.

Sabre-X's great skill as a strategic planner is not only vital to Tyrannia's defence, but it has also positioned him as one of Tyrannia's leading political figures. Indeed, there are many who feel that Sabre-X's support of Kyruggi was a key factor in the Kyrii's successful campaign to become Tyrannia's Grand Elder. And so, it was no surprise when Kyruggi demonstrated her gratitude by naming Sabre-X to her cabinet as Tyrannia's Head of the Strategic War Divison.

In addition to his duties with the Strategic War Division, Sabre-X was also recently named as Supervisor in Chief of the Giant Omelette, a title which entrusts him with safeguarding Tyrannia's precious food supply. In spite of all that Sabre-X has accomplished, there are some Tyrannians who feel that he has become too powerful, too fast. Rumours of a possible backlash, as well as plots to humble this rising star of the Tyrannian political scene, have surfaced from time to time. However, conspiracies of this nature against Sabre-X have thus far failed to materialise.
