"Sir, sir... the Lupe Raiders have reached the city walls!" young Prowbert the stablehand cried as he struggled to wake his master, Sir Fufon Lui.

"I say, dear lad," Fufon grumbled as he looked up, half-asleep. "What's the meaning of this, waking me from my afternoon nap?" Rising to his feet, Fufon wiped the sleep from his eyes. "Really... this had better be important!"

"Sir," Prowbert exclaimed, "it's the Lupes... Goebie, the summoner's apprentice saw them on their way to town. What are we going to do?"

"Hisssht, young Prowbert! Rest assured, I'll be along to dispatch of these scamps in due time... that is, as soon as I've finished my nap. Now, away with you!"

"But sir, there's no time to lose... the raiders are here!!!"

"Very well, boy. Fetch my scabbard and hat." Dusting himself off and gathering his things, Fufon and his young assistant made their way to the city walls. Upon their arrival, the Lupe Raiders were already at the gate. They'd been anxiously awaiting their chance for revenge against Fufon Lui, who'd unceremoniously run them out of town months earlier. After licking their wounds, the Lupe Raiders had decided it was time for their return.

"Hey Foofie Loofie," Tarabann, the leader of the Lupe Raiders taunted, "we're back! And this time, we brought along a few friends. Prepare to meet your doom!"

"Scoundrel!" Fufon growled, "You dare to utter my proud family name in such a contemptible manner? I don't care who you've brought... I shall get great pleasure from soundly thrashing the lot of you!"

Diving into the fray, Fufon reached for his trusty blade and quickly cut two of the raiders to ribbons. But as soon as he'd taken care of the first wave of Lupes, another quartet rose eagerly to meet him. "They just keep on coming," Fufon thought to himself, but continued ducking and parrying until all but one had been struck down.

"Aha Foofolly," Tarabann scoffed, "you may have gotten the best of my lackeys, but you'll never defeat ME!" Swinging a pair of razor-sharp machetes, Tarabann came at Fufon with blinding fury. Rolling to escape the mighty Lupe's blade, Fufon rose to his feet and unleashed the power of his mighty sabre. Striking Tarabann with a swift combination of volleys, the Lupe Raiders were stunned by the sight of their leader dropping to one knee, then falling to the ground... defeated.

Thoroughly outclassed by Fufon's expert swordplay, the raiders had no choice but to beat a hasty retreat, yelping with their tails between their legs. "Prowbert, fetch me a Chia pop!"

"Y-y-yes, sir..." the stablehand replied. "Any particular flavour?"

To which Fufon replied, "Surprise me...."

Having dispatched of his bitterest enemies, the Lupe Raiders, Sir Fufon Lui is now free to return to his afternoon nap. However, when the need arises and action must be taken, you can be certain this sword-wielding Chia will be ready to take arms and defend Neopia from the most fearsome fiends.
