Welcome to Lovely Llamas, my gallery dedicated to the best pet in all of neopia: the gnorbu!

Ever since the gnorbu was first released, it was my very favorite pet. My love for them has grown throughout the years, and I couldn't think of a better way to show my appreciation for the species than to have an entire gallery dedicated to them!

In this gallery you will find items that either have "gnorbu" in the name or description, relate to a specific famous gnorbu (such as Captain Tuan Plushie), have a picture of a gnorbu on them (like Shenkuu Travel Brochure), or directly relate to gnorbus (for example, Hand-crafted Wool Paper).



Gnorbu are fun-loving Neopets who enjoy making others laugh. Despite its natural lack of agility, the Gnorbu's kind heart and good-natured outlook have succeeded in making it a very popular Neopet.

Originally designed as an April Fool's joke in Year 7, Neopians everywhere fell in love with the beautiful creature (then called "Lamameeah") and wanted to be able to have one of their very own. Thus, on the 6th day of Sleeping, Year Eight (January 6th, 2006), the gnorbu was born. To honor this wonderful creation, every year on January 6th we celebrate gnorbu shearing day, a day where gnorbus all across neopia get their fur shaved off. (Not to worry - the gnorbu's fur grows very quickly. So quickly, in fact, that by January 7th their entire coat has returned).

The gnorbu is the 43rd most popular species in Neopia, making them the LEAST popular non-LE/restricted species. Despite that fact, gnorbu owners tend to be fiercely loyal to their bearded buddies.

The gnorbu is currently available in 36 colors (my favorite happens to be mutant, although I'd love to see an elderly gnorbu - *hinthint* TNT ;) ).

Some famous gnorbus include Captain Tuan, Igneot, Scrap, Princess Terrana, Wise Old Gnorbu, Vandebart Biggsby, Derlyn Fonnet, Mirsha Grelinek, Shyanna, and Siona.
