Cheers to the Rooligans
By Aliengem118

From a tiny island just off of Neopia's shore
Came a team like none ever seen before.
They rose to 4th in the first year, defying the odds;
Everyone raised an eyebrow at this flashy squad.

They redefined what it means to be the underdog,
And when their bells did toll,
They took the second year by storm
With their wacky tricks and slapstick goals.
They laughed their way straight through the Cup,
Finishing another improbable season the runner-up.

Many wondered 'Where do they go from here?'
To those zany Rooligans, the answer was clear;
Gold was what their feisty determination did see,
And it surely led them to a spectacular victory.

Roo, Roo Roo!
The crowds did shout.
Roo, Roo, Roo!
One by one, they took their competition out.

Krawk was a mighty titan towering in their way,
But Roo was set to prove they are here to stay.
Cheers to Clutch, Jair, Fenny, Gordo, and Lilo too!
Expect the unexpected from that island of Roo.

Captain Rourke's Poem
By Anjie

Aye, I sail angry seas,
Eternal seems each mile.
I'll steer this craft safe from the reef,
But don't expect a smile.
The
Primella, she's my ship,
Our journey you may join.
We'll steer you where you wish to go,
For many a gold coin!

Against the tidal raging storm,
Against the wind, I'll race.
Gruff the growl in my throat,
To match the sneer on face.
No other Ogrin is so brave,
To face the seas like I!
Over waves that never end,
My ship and I will fly.

Stowaways and islands lost,
There are monsters to be fought!
I'll journey brave across the sea,
My service can be bought.
Rugged up against a howling wind,
The salt spray in the air.
A life at sea the fate I chose,
I ride the waves out there.

Aye, I love a life at sea,
Although you'll never know.
It's hidden by an angry scowl,
And insults that I throw.
No matter how the sails tear,
Or how my ship is rocked.
This Ogrin won't step from the wheel,
Until my boat is docked.

Glubgar's Volcano Run
By Geneames1

Deep within Tyrannia
A volcano looms large.
Within its fiery, burning depths,
Glubgar begins his charge.

Trapped within its molten core,
The Scorchio must escape
By carefully manoeuvring
The treacherous landscape.

He flaps his wings and soars ahead
As boulders rise to meet him.
He dips below then pulls above
The rocks that fall to greet him.

He gathers up the gleaming gems
He spies along the way,
Saving them in the event
He ever gets away.

Flaming plumes of lava jet;
The path ahead grows tight.
Glubgar begins to wonder if
He'll ever end his flight.

So on he flies, his mission clear,
Though danger lies ahead.
His only thought is getting out
And getting home to bed!

The Royal Shoyru
By Chaenda

He is of royal descent,
On his head shines his crown,
So to rule over his citizens he went,
To make sure he won't let you down.

He rules over the land as fair as can be,
To be for them all good times and bad,
The perfect model for everyone to see,
Just seeing him would make you so glad.

He is the best king you will find,
As you will be able to know,
Blessed with such an intelligent mind,
By the hour his greatness will grow.

The Old Wishing Well
By Hopeforgotten

In a quiet corner of the Neopian Plaza,
Stood the Old Wishing Well.
It had an air of being forgotten,
When in reality the truth was far from that.

Every day visitors came from far and wide
To throw a coin down the magical well.
Some breezed in with the sunlight,
Others crept in under the cloak of night.

Each Neopet came with a common motive,
Each Neopet came with the same purpose,
Each had an unfulfilled dream,
Each wanted a miracle to happen.

Each Neopet pressed against the brick wall
And gazed down at the dark waters below,
Quiet, smooth, undisturbed, perfect,
Waiting for the coin to drop and the magic to begin.

Each Neopet wondered in their heart
If they would be the lucky one,
Would the Wishing Well hear
And grant the desire of their heart?

On an impulse each Neopet unclenched their fist,
The coin gathered momentum as it fell,
Making a gentle plop as it hit the surface,
Creating a cascade of ripples in the waters below.

Each Neopet closed their eyes and held their breath,
Wishing fervently for the magic to start.
Each one turned away disappointed
With dashed hopes and shattered dreams.

Each Neopet stole away silently
With bowed heads and tails down,
So what if their wish hadn't been granted today?
Tomorrow might tell a different story.
