JUBJUB DAY SPECIAL

JubJub Day
By Muffintins

We should be appreciated
In many different ways,
and that is why we are complaining
about Fyora Day.

It comes four days before ours,
the second and the sixth,
It really should be some other time,
just a few more clock ticks.

We complain for this reason --
our parties are never quite as grand,
the other Neopets are always talking
about Fyora's food or band.

We are just as special
and that you can't deny.
We can be painted coconut
or cloud to match the sky.

Fyora is a queen
and known throughout the land.
Us, we're only Neopets,
as plain as desert sand.

We have our cakes and plushies,
our books and lollipops,
We even have our own muffins
with fluffy tasty tops.

But it is really so unfair,
we need more recognition.
If we don't get some soon,
we'll start a long petition.

Everybody join the song,
say what we say.
"Hey everybody, listen up --
It's JubJub Day!"

The Nearly Perfect JubJub Party
By Yoyote

"Gather round! Gather round!"
A cheery JubJub with a pink face cries,
"There's a party cake for all to eat,
And if you're a lovely one to meet,
You may get a small surprise!"

Tied with bows in sweet red rows,
The cake towers tall in the centre.
The JubJubs roll and roll with pleasure,
Their happiness way too great to measure,
As group by group they enter.

The tables fill almost to the spill;
The plates are laden with food.
Amid the throng a coconut JubJub
Sips delicately from a creamy juice-tub,
Unconsciously adding to the festive mood.

The light songs swirl, the dancers twirl,
It's the stuff of JubJub dreams.
Surely this party's too good to be real!
Everything seems to fit the ideal --
The keyword being "seems."

For waiting alone in its quiet zone,
An Evil Fuzzle, oh-so-blue,
Sits smiling with a glint in its little eye,
Until a party guest comes on by
To be startled by a menacing "BOO!"

The JubJub Charmer
By Icesmith

Through the roasting streets of Sakhmet,
A soft, serene chime is heard,
It comforts the ears of wandering pets
And flies as swiftly as a bird.

Many wonder from whence this melody comes
And hum along so gently,
But this joyful nature is soon erased,
As the Cobralls, they come aplenty,

They seem attracted to the harmonious sound,
And jitter with every vibration
That pierces through the still air with ease,
As they enjoy the majestic sensation.

They slither and squirm through the streets,
Startling many as they crawl past their feet,
As their poisonous tongues and their glowing eyes,
Are considered to be far from sweet.

But the Cobralls come with no intention of harm,
And instead ignore the wails of fear,
As they are busying themselves
With only one prospect,
To meet the owner of the tune they hear.

And so they finally spot the melody maker,
And up against his feet they do rub,
So truly skilled with musical quality,
Is this charming JubJub.

Boraxis the Healer
By Anjie

Upon a quest to save the world,
Brave warriors set out.
They seek the one who chaos caused,
And then to trounce the lout!
Brave Rohane and his motley crew,
Will make a journey bold.
Alas, such trips come at a price,
As each stage doth unfold.

Thus they seek the magic one,
Boraxis of such fame.
To heal the crew who Neoquest,
And thus protect the game.
Magical and mystical,
His powers know no bounds.
Healing those who seek the path,
And stray within his grounds.

Dark eyes flash with a steely gaze,
So wise the onyx sheen.
The scurry of those massive feet,
The healer soon is seen.
An utterance of sacred words,
Each ailment soon gone.
The JubJub smiles, murmurs soft,
"You're healed, now carry on."

Golden JubJub
By Concertogreat_8

Once upon a time there was a JubJub,
All gold he was and shiny, too,
Wreathed in smiles, clutching a book,
Practically showing the sun's rays
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

Guardian, herald of the Neopian Times,
That famous newspaper we all know,
With stories galore and answers to
Questions we waited eagerly, says
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

Oh, Golden JubJub, you brought to my face
A smile, one glance could light up my day.
For you brought tidings of good game guides,
Articles to pass the time, boredom gone away
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

Golden JubJub, grinning at me, how much
Praise you really deserve, for all those long
Years you sat on the top of the Times
And smiled out at the rowdy crowded haze
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

And one day he just disappeared,
Replaced with a silly white bird
They called a Weewoo, because, they
Said, nothing ever stays
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

Gone without a trace, there was
No longer any sunshine lighting up
My longest hours, no joy is
Brought by a golden face these days
(In the olden days, in the olden days)

And now we merely sing about
And praise a long-lost memory,
A little shred, a scrap only us old ones
Remember, and that never really pays
(In the olden days, in the olden days)
