Volcano Run: Brave Scorchio
By Scarvogue

Thick smog fills the black sky,
Sight impossible through the haze,
Spitting magma of crimson red,
The cracked land is set ablaze.

Through the thick sky a Scorchio doth fly,
Making his way through the murky air.
Wings beating strong against the winds,
Upon his face, a determined glare.

Straight to the mountain his wings beat,
Loyally guiding him with every stride.
He approaches the mouth, avoiding the spits of fire;
The volcano opens wide.

Glubgar takes a deep breath
And steers his way into the volcano's lair.
Hot rocks fly here and there,
Even in the darkness he sees,
magma sizzling here and there.

Fire lights his path, glistening on the roof and floor,
But it is still a dangerous flight.
One wrong turn could mean the end.
Even if he puts up a fight.

A rock hisses and falls from the top,
Gently scorching Glubgar's wing.
Down, down he falls,
GAME OVER, you doth fail.

Flight of a Faerie Moltenore
By Anjie

A journey made on lambent wings,
Inferno hovers high.
A brilliant comet, fire-bound,
Aloft in cobalt sky.
Delicate, the crimson frame
That tiptoes on the cloud.
So radiant are colours, bright,
That fog and gloom can't shroud.

Oh Moltenore, on tiny wings,
So vivid burns each flame.
Wild burn those dainty wings,
With colour none can tame.
Petite, the creature climbs the breeze,
So near the sun, she'll glide.
Embracing warmth that glows like she,
Down sunlit beam, she'll slide.

So rare, so seldom, such a sight,
That all would crowd to see.
A Moltenore on faerie wings,
She's gliding, high and free.
Incandescent, crimson-toned,
Awash with shades of gold.
Resplendent fiery colours seem,
As tiny wings unfold.

Behold the flight of molten gleam,
Aloft, she'll swiftly sail.
Behind the vision of her form,
There glimmers a fiery trail.
To see a Moltenore in flight,
A sight that few might claim.
A beauty drifts on faerie wings,
Alight with vivid flame.

The Joys and Sorrows of a Random Event
By Preeningpixie

When you see that yellow banner,
Your heart begins to race.
You either wiggle with excitement
Or the colour drains from your face.

There are so many things to happen
To your items, points, and pets.
This could be your lucky day,
Or an event that you'll regret.

Boochi turns your pet to baby --
Oh man, what a rush!
Too bad you spent a million points last night,
On that oh-so-rare paint brush.

Sometimes you'll get some Neopoints
Or an item that's so cool.
Everyone wants a visit from Jacko --
I should know, 'cause I do too!

Between Sloth, pets, and faeries,
And all the other little things,
You've got to love those Random Events...
Even if some do kind of stink!

Jhudora's Dream
By Emjslytherin

Sitting high on this cloud of mine,
Forever hunted, forever jeered,
Forever hated, forever feared.

Punished for my cunning and ambition,
Shunned for my style and revolutionary vision.
I am Jhudora and I am strong.
I am Jhudora and I am not wrong.

It is you, the nice light faeries,
Shining brightly from within,
Who stand to be outcasts,
When the Neopets bow to my every whim.

I will give you a reason to fear me,
I will give you a reason to shun,
When I am in command of this world
And no longer hide from anyone.

My throne will be in the open,
Made of hard silver and gold,
Not clouds to dissolve in a moment,
But something solid to prove my wishes will be told.

Obey me one and all,
For I am the queen of dark knowledge,
The power at my fingertips,
Makes the strongest heroes cower.

My name strikes fear in hearts and minds alike,
From the brainless minions of Sloth
To the Faerie Queen's gentle elite.

Wishes will be granted,
But in so subtle a way,
That you wish to wish again,
For a different fay.

The dark shall rule the world
And the light shall hide in fear.
All who say the name Fyora
Will not even have the chance to disappear!

Count Von Roo and the Deadly Dice
By Scenette

Eerie darkness, moonlight glow,
Roo Island tower in the limelight, standing on show,
Cast in shadows, left and right.
Neopets cower on the ground in fright,
As Count von Roo awakens from his slumber,
Dressed in a classy orange and black number.
He glides along, cape sweeping from behind,
Blood-curdling screams echoing inside his mind.
His victims run, they shout and they plead,
As he drains all their levels, plain to see.
Deadly Dice, a game of chance and luck,
With a terrible price to pay for the gamble you took.
A couple of extra levels, is it really worth the risk?
Take a moment, make it brisk,
Click the button, see what happens --
It may last one or twenty sessions,
It's all down to the luck of the dice...
But all the same, it is you it must entice.
