Kiko Lake
By Reggieman721

Team Kiko Lake, we honour thee,
You scarcely won a game.
In Yooyuball, I fear you may
Not ever gain much fame.

Your carpentry is not well-known,
Your treats delight but few.
Glass-bottomed boats, you have but one
To sail, alone but true.

Your colouring pages, although cute,
Are rarely printed off.
At Kiko Lake, some Neopets
Choose just to laugh and scoff!

But Kiko Lake, please listen up,
You needn't change your ways.
Be happy with your humble home,
Be glad that peace there stays!

I wish I lived in Kiko Lake,
Where nothing doth go wrong,
Where joy doth reign eternally,
Where each day's full and long.

Pull Along Peophin
By Geneames1

I'll follow you where'er you go,
I'm never far behind.
I look just like my brethren, but
I'm of a different kind.

Take my string up in your hand,
I'll follow on my wheels.
My head and tail bob up and down,
I'll stay close by your heels.

Whene'er you speak, I'll listen;
I'll never interject.
I'll be your friend and confidant,
Your secrets I'll protect.

I'm unlike other Peophins, but
My movements bring you joy.
I cannot swim or dive because
I am a wooden toy.

So when you go out for a stroll
And want someone to walk with,
Take string in hand and give a tug --
I'll be close by to talk with.

I Found an Angelpuss Today
By Mithril_mithrandir

I found an Angelpuss today,
Sitting by the woods,
So cute and yet so helpless --
I'd take her if I could.

I found a Moach beside her,
Chirruping a song,
Clutching tightly on the fur
As if to go along.

I found some bags of peanuts --
Not one or two, but three,
Just sitting in the shade
Nearby the Money Tree.

Waiting for a hotdog
I did quite nearly faint,
For lying on the floor
Was a brush of faerie paint!

And then inside the bank,
As I was taking out a loan,
I happened to chance upon
A mysterious codestone!

I found a torn-up map,
And sold it for a price --
The feel of fifty thousand
In my pocket was quite nice.

I found a golden Nerkmid,
Gleaming in the sun,
Scintillating, ever so bright --
I wished for more than one.

I found a yummy muffin,
And as I ate my fill
I could hear Boochi's footsteps,
Closer and closer still...

And then my eyes flew open,
And then I yelled and screamed,
Because none of this had happened,
Because it was all a dream.

The Briny Queen
By Knoxigami

A flash of purple just below
The surface, dark and deep,
A fumbled glance, a double-take,
But the sea its secrets keeps.

Down below a ruby eye,
Glints in the sun's lost rays,
A violet fin is glimpsed again,
Within the ocean's spray.

A creature of such majesty,
A beauty rarely seen,
Playing in the crashing waves,
The briny Darigan Queen.

Silky mane of jet-black hair,
Glittering red eyes,
Soaring graceful through the seas,
That reflect the fading skies.

She leads a life of loneliness,
To pay for her evil deed,
Bound in dark and wicked form,
And never to be freed.

The Peophin of legends old,
Dignified and wise,
She guards her ocean kingdom well,
Away from land-locked eyes.

Cassile's Tale
By Fearthejuliet

In the pearly dawn, when Shenkuu sleeps,
I learn to fly, in waters deep.
You may ask how, and so I'll tell
Of rapids fierce and waves that swell.

To board! A truly wondrous thing,
Your very blood will seem to sing.
Your hair will fly in disarray,
Through coves and shallows, you'll soon play.

But practice is a grueling need,
You'll garner bruises and often bleed.
Rocks and logs you'll learn to jump,
Though often into them you'll bump.

But oh! To see the sky so vast,
To see the birds and clouds fly past,
To see Shenkuu spread like a map,
To hit the water with many a slap.

It's not an easy task, you'll find.
Your skin will cut and spray will blind.
But worth it -- oh, a silly phrase!
Nothing equals a river-strafed day.

In the pearly dawn, when the sky bleeds light,
I breathe in courage and hold on tight.
I take a jump, I heave a sigh,
I just let go, and then -- I fly.
