ILLUSEN DAY SPECIAL
Illusen of the Glade
Below the lush green canopies,
Amid the trunks of trees,
She has lived for many years,
In peace and harmony.
Always busy, always working,
She always seeks our understanding.
Ever ready with a quest in hand,
She sends us off to do her bidding.
Success is always rewarded,
She is very fair, granted.
As we aid her more and more,
She grows increasingly elated.
She seeks no trouble with anybody,
Preferring to live in serenity.
Peaceful is her way of life,
She shies away from dark faeries.
Meridell has housed her for many a decade,
It's trees and plants have given her shade.
Who is she indeed?
She is Illusen of the Glade.
Illusen - A Faerie Extraordinaire
A shadow darting around the green,
Most say she can't be seen.
Weaving magic with her hands,
Guiding you to wherever she stands.
Mystic waterfalls, tumbling torrents,
Finding her a search does warrant.
Casting illusions over whoever crosses her way,
Yet not evil, she's as bright as the day.
Sending you on valiant quests,
She doth reward you with her best,
An item, an avatar, a Neopoint or two,
Who knows what's in store for you?
Guardian of the element Earth,
Which to all life doth give birth.
Impervious to the sands of time,
She doth keep her beauty sublime.
Finding her in the maze of green,
A task, in which success remains to be seen.
A master in her art, weaving illusions,
That is why they call her -- Illusen.
Away from the troubles that plague Faerieland,
Illusen nurtures the plants in her glade.
She's known to give quests and excursions firsthand
To those she deems worthy of prizes and aid.
She follows a vow not to closely involve
Herself in the worries and cares of the world.
For her, the vast whole of Neopia revolves
Round the tending of gardens and flowers unfurled.
She'll give you a quest, give you minutes to do
All the things she wants done for her magical spells.
There are scores of Neopians eager to prove
That they have what it takes to do well, to excel.
So unlike her sister, Jhudora the Dark,
Illusen the earth faerie lives to protect
All the countless Neopians who daily embark
On her missions to search and to find and collect.
She's ageless and wise, she's benevolent too,
To those who love nature and care for it well.
She appreciates people who think and who do
All the things she loves most --
Without pride, without boast --
To live in the forest, there to garden, there to dwell.
Song of an Illusen Wind-up Doll
Delicate, the chimes do sound,
Illusen, spinning, 'round and 'round.
Beneath the dome, she doth belong,
Twirling, dancing to her song.
A simple turn of golden key,
Illusen, won't you dance for me?
Melody, it now begins,
Illusen's wound up, and she spins.
A fragile doll in glassy dome,
A tiny world, her only home.
Far from the myth of emerald glade,
Beneath the sheen of glass, she's stayed.
Each detail cast, flawless, fine,
Tiny wings of plastic shine.
Her hair a cascade, red and green,
Bright eyes alight with soft jade sheen.
Miniature, her dress is sewn,
Perfect replica is shown.
Dainty boots on tiny feet,
Painted freckles, now complete.
And here a tune that does entice,
She spins around, not once, not twice.
But dancing endlessly along,
Mesmerised by her own song.
And some may think this dolly's dance
Is nothing but an empty stance.
Though look again, see how she moves,
Each turn of key, her grace improves.
Illusen is faerie, free,
And never would she dance for me.
But tiny replica, within,
With turn of key will always spin.
Illusen, Our Favourite Faerie
In Meridell she can be seen,
Our favourite faerie, all dressed in green.
With a kindly manner and a friendly air,
She always has time to spare.
For anyone facing their hour of need,
Illusen is a friend indeed.
In her glade she can be found,
Our favourite faerie of the ground.
Flowers, trees, buds, and plants
Thrive and bloom with her nurturing hands.
Illusen loves to tend the earth,
Caring and loving for all she's worth.
Visit her and you will see
Just how kind she can be.
Try your hardest and you may be delighted
To receive a honey potion,
For when you are fighting.
Let's celebrate this day with joy and glee
In honour of Illusen, our favourite faerie.
